ununcle: Loadmaster: Slapping his belly is considered hilarious?

I think maybe his knack for sharp-witted improvisational humor has started to run thin over the last couple of decades.

For farks sake, He's not as funny now as he once was, but decades? You got to give him "Kingpin" (96) or "The Man Who Knew Too Little" (97) and "Wild Things" (98) or you were never even a fan in the first place. Being a comedian is almost like being an athlete. It has a shelf life. Guys like Murray made it last longer then most.

The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou was genious, and I usually don't like that kind of movie.

Damn, I went to youtube to see some Lettermen/Murray shtick. Looking at Murray on Letterman in "83",  I weep for todays standard. Today = Seth Rogen on Fallon or a runner up from "The Bachelor" on the View. Talk shows back then  were landing interviews with the Marlon Brando's or John Lennon's,or Joplen, or Hendrix, . Now it's Kim Kardashian or Blancket Jacksons body guard. Puke.

freetomato: I'm not too far from Charleston. Really need to make a weekend of it. I'd love to meet him.

I live here. The odds are low you'll just happen upon him. You can increase those odds with season tix to the RiverDogs since he owns most of the team and shows up to games at least a few times a year.

I know, right?  I mean, it's not like people have different taste in movies or anything.
