I was thinking it'd be a roach or maybe some stems, but over 20 grams is a pretty good amount of weed. That said, I look forward to the day people of all professions can freely admit to smoking a joint or two in their free time, much like it's socially acceptable to say you drank a few beers after work.

I sure am glad that those brave LEOs went out of their way to ruin this man's life and make him completely unemployable because of a harmless plant that he probably wasn't even high on at the time.

To be honest I'm surprised there aren't more mass shootings in your country. A few per week doesn't seem like nearly enough given the magnitude of unbelievably unjust bullshiat going on every single day in America.

I bet if I walked into the school in the morning carrying a 6-pack, I'd be having a serious conversation with somebody.

This.

Also, 20 grams is probably less than you think it is. 3 quarters weigh 17.1 grams. Assuming they used cop science they included the baggie in the weight.

I'd be a bit upset.  It gets very hot inside the car during the day.  That's a good way to ruin good beer.

The point was that it isn't such a huge amount that it seems out of the ordinary.

You saying that it seems like "quite a bit" when you are a self professed smoker who admits to having more than 20 grams on you at one time or the other sounds like you contradict yourself.

I could argue that "a bit much" implies there is a normal amount and "a bit much" means more than the normal (or ordinary) amount, but I am not going to argue the meaning of words and phrases with you since you obviously think that just because people question you they are upset and "need to calm down". This already shows a lack of understanding or an inflated self worth.

Should be, no...Would be, probably.

And don't get me wrong, I'm for legalizing everything.

But, I think toting around your drug of choice in your car at 8am, might signal a larger problem.

A couple of years ago they pulled something like this at a high school I work at. They put the entire school in full lockdown while two deputies and one of the associate principals walked through the student parking lot with drug dogs. It lasted a little over an hour. Not sure how many kids got in trouble, but they called out a list of kids over the intercom at the end of the day.

The justification? It happened to be April 20th.

No, no it isn't...

I'd have a word with your dealer because you're getting boned.

A "quarter" is a quarter ounce or 7.08 grams.  That makes 3 quarters 21.24 grams or about 22.24 grams with a baggie.  Still not a ton of weed.  About 20 days for my former self.

I literally just put 3 quarters on a scale and they were 17.1 grams. This is a scale we just purchased and calibrated (yes, I zeroed the scale before weighing the quarters).

Maybe quarters originally weighed 7.08 but these 3 new quarters did not weigh 7.08 grams each.

You're being literal and that is not helping you out in this instance.  The "quarter" (in quotes) is a moniker that refers to a quarter of an ounce.

The actual mass of a US quarter has no bearing on this conversation, but helps to illuminate your original weight post.

Ha. I kind of wish I was still at work so I could weigh them individually and see if one of them was throwing the total off.

It's too much to have in your damn car, much less at work, which happens to be a school. Where they have drug dogs come by. Oh, and you have a scale. It shows really really really poor judgement at minimum. No one with half a brain cruises around with close to an ounce of weed on them.
