When did Scotland get more polite than Canada? I certainly didn't see that coming.

Edinburgh has an amazing bus system.  Why bother with trams?

FTFA: A MILITANT mystery knitter has struck once again - this time adorning an entire tram stop in a woollen protest blanket.

I want to know how you get militant from the actions listed in the article. I don't think that militant and knitter ever need to be in the same sentence, much less using militant as an adjective in association with knitter.

Ya know, you wait many years to get the perfect pun with the perfect news story. I knitted my brow trying to find it, Baaaaat alas, I went with wtf kind of protest is this? It was the shear wit that you showed that made that your comment funny. Any time you want to fleece me out of funny votes, ewe can.

Seriously, made me laugh. I voted funny for you because it was.

I live in Edinburgh and the public transport is OK but not in the same league as Glasgow, which has coverage from buses, trains and subway that is phenomenal so the trams were needed to give an alternative to buses if there was a problem. Of course there's trains in Edinburgh but it's not the all-encompassing suburban-to-city network of Glasgow.
