There is a distinct lack of scantily clad, large-breasted Martian women.  So list fails.

Nice roll over text. White on white is an excellent choice.

You mean list fails without Boris Vallejo...

Teambaylagoon: A Clockwork Orange is sci fi ?

Well, it involves behavioral modification through aversion therapy, so I'll allow it.

Sure. Dystopian future, experimental behavior modification, goofy outfits.

I wa going to say list fails without:

Elric books (but that's more fantasy sword stuff)

H.P. Lovecraft (but that's more horror)

So, I'm cool.

What does it say about me that those are just a small few of the books I've read?

"A hugely influential book and a brilliant cover to match; when someone says the word robot to you, this is basically the image that springs to mind - a darkly gleaming metallic body and two small, penetrating lights for eyes. It's not a million miles away from what RoboCop ended up looking like 37 years later."

Really? Robocop is the first thing that came to TFA writer?

This makes me want to re-read Flowers for Algernon.

I first read as a young teen and hadn't thought of it for ages.

Question: looking for a scifi cover from the 70s?? where the nerdy astronaut sits among female aliens that look like very sexy ladies/rabbit hybrids of different colored fur. There are hands on a large "joystick" as I recall, not sure whether it's the girl aliens or the guy.

I am not sure but it sounds like the Spaceways books by John Cleve.

None of these were as interesting as even an average Bonestell. Several (Rendezvous With Rama, for example) are covers I recall thinking were lame the first time I saw them.

Most of those were not very good.
The armor one was really bad.

"Prober Publishing" nice.  Is that a recreation or someone bought the prop?

Fantastic book with an ending that will break your heart.

Yeah, there were some really terrible ones in there. The Neuromancer 1st Edition cover, especially, was just cliched and horrible.

Seriously, have you seen some of the later edition covers? I think these are Brazilian.

As far as classic designs, that I, Robot cover is much better than the later Del Rey edition, but it's been done before:

And the original of The Forever War was much better than that generic military cover that they liked so much:
