What's this? You're wearing the shirt of your own meme to a concert? Don't be that guy.

You don't say.

Not sure if this is classy or douchey where Nic Cage is concerned.  He does have rather a big ego.
But, I prefer to think the better of people though, so I'll go with classy.

Dice, OTOH, looks like either a bad Elvis impersonator or someone's Dad trying to do a Wolverine costume
to 'blend in' at ComicCon.

I wouldn't have thought the t-shirt would be apart of a pimp ensemble, but OK...

Whatever points he gets for the outfit he loses for being at a GnR show.

I'll still watch anything he's in.
On netflix.
Or spike.

Guns N Roses concert?

Somehow that is the weirdest part of this piece and being weirder than Nicolas cage is not easy.

2014-06-09 03:02:54 PM
If crazy Nicolas Cage appeared in more Nicolas Cage movies, I'd enjoy them. Now go make "Werewolf Women of the SS" with Rob Zombie already, Dr. Fu Manchu.

jaylectricity: Wow, Dice looks pretty old. I've heard him making the rounds lately, but I haven't actually seen him.

I saw him on one of those "comedy showcase" type shows. He was the last of 4 standups doing about 15 min. each. the first 3 were young guys I'd never heard of. He was last. He farking killed. I was laughing so hard my side hurt. None of the other guys got so much as a chuckle. He's still a badass, and that he has the balls to go on one of those shows for nobodies shows that there is a lot to the guy.

Man he got a bad break and is pretty tame by some of today's standards.

This is Nicolas Cage we are talking about.  Up until the anal beads thing I wasn't positive myself.  But now I'm sure it was satire.  Well, fairly sure.

I like him in very small doses. Almost in a George Bush/Dana Carvey type of way if that makes any sense.

I wish I could trade him for Sam Kinison.  I wonder what he would have done with another 20 years.  Even if he toned it down like Louis Black, I'd be happy when he popped up in something, rather than feel bad for liking him in the 80's.

ya know, I hate to be "that guy" but they play a lot of Kinison on the sirius comedy channel I listen to. You know what? he doesn't hold up near as well as you may think. He's funny, sure, but his bits havent aged so well.

It's rare I don't enjoy a movie he's in no matter how stupid it is but yea, small doses. I don't want a Cage marathon.

I was referring to Dice. Cage's steady supply of direct to Netflix streaming titles has bailed me out on many occassions. So I actually like him, as long as I am not paying for it (directly)

So, more than likely, had the roles been reversed, it would be Kinison who we'd see as the occasional curious "look-at-this-has-been-who-thinks-he's-still-relevant" celebrity to laugh it, and comedy fans would listen back to "The Day the Laughter Died" and imagine what an incredible comedy career was taken too soon from us.

And tell me you honestly wouldn't love to party with those two.

I will admit that THE ADVENTURES OF FORD FAIRLANE is my all time favorite guilty pleasure movie.

And Andrew Silverman is a far, far better actor than people give him credit for, since he's even convinced himself
that the Diceman is his real personality.

Both of them show up at the tiki bar I frequent pretty regularly, but never seen them together. They both know one of the bouncers who is friends with me also. I've met them both, good people. I told Cage I liked his work, he asked what was my favorite. I answered immediately "Raising Arizona"  then after a moments hesitation said "Leaving Las Vegas, but that was cuz of Elizabeth Shue's tits." He spit taked his drink on that one
