Every time an analyst or commentator says the word "hydrate", take a drink. Be drunk by the second quarter is what I'm thinking.

spurs by 5...they will be up late, heat will make a run but come up short.  Bosh and Wade go ice cold.  Wade will give at least one cheap/slightly-injurious foul.

Parker sits out 2nd half of last quarter.

The AC will work too, despite no longer having this guy on the payroll who could have fixed it during the first game:

Excited for another great game.  Slightly less excited about pushing GoT viewing back a couple hours.

I think James goes big tonight with a decent showing from Wade. Fouls fall a little bit in Heat favor leading to some thread chippiness but part of that will be LBJ driving more rather than taking jumpshots (part of it will be the usual poor officiating). Heat by 8-10 but the game is never close in the 2nd half. I'd like Duncan to get a final trophy, but I don't think it is in the cards unless they play amazing tonight and win.

Spurs will find another way to sabatoge their way to a victory tonight

2014-06-08 07:18:42 PM
The Heat have a great ability to come back from losses and avoid back to back losses, so I'm kind of thinking they win tonight. I just hope for a close game.

Lost Thought 00: Spurs will find another way to sabatoge their way to a victory tonight

They'll replace Lebron's Gatorade with Powerade.

Danny Crawford is the ref for tonight. Is he the one who helps the home or road team? I remember he goes one way while Joey goes the other but can't remember the specifics.

Actually that's a better unit than they had installed the other night. Nice upgrade!

Nice strip, I figured the Heat would go with a LBJ dunk/layup to start and the set was right

Predictions that won't come true: This will be known as either the Haslem or shocker...THE GREG ODEN GAME!

I just beat my buddy in a Heat(friend) vs. Spurs(me) series in 2k14 this week. The key to victory for me was to keep the tempo up on offense and avoid turnovers. I sent an email to Coach Pop to let him know, I haven't heard back from him yet.

2014-06-08 08:15:35 PM
Did Leonard just get a foul for LBJ pushing off him?

2014-06-08 08:18:35 PM
Timmy is looking 10 years younger out there tonight.

Oddly enough, they are subdued compared to game 1

Ok, Lucy could be a good movie but the whole 10 percent of the brain thing is debunked nowadays by 3rd grade. Just rephrase the science part and it wouldn't have been laughable

I had to hold back the facepalm when Morgan said the 10% thing on that commercial. Didn't they just make this movie recently too?

Every 3-4 games he does that for a half. Half.

That, combined with 'oh look, she's neo' makes it a double whammy... I feel like you get one of those things that don't sit right per trailer.

Two? Makes my spleen bitter...

The reviews will have to be very good, or I ain't seein it.

Kia should have had Larry Fishburn play his character from Boyz n the Hood instead.

To be fair, the whole Groundhog Day scifi thing was the knock against Edge of Tomorrow and I loved it today. I'll wait for reviews though like you mentioned. Over 70 on RT and I might be in.

Lebron out with cramps in 3..2..1.

Spurs all over the passing lanes. Both teams have great scouting reports.

What is that, a raptor claw behind Pop?

2014-06-08 08:36:32 PM
Why sit James in he last 30 here with you on offense? I mean if you are going to play him nonstop in the first 11, what's the point of spelling him for the last possession before the break

DUMB turnover when you could have run out the clock.

2014-06-08 08:37:05 PM
Turnover by Random Not-Big-3 #6.
