I provide to you the apologies for the lateness of the responding but the WTFark office just finished the meeting. It has the agreement of mikerylander for providing to you the newest of the script writers which is the individual upon which has the bigger roommate. All which had the requirement was to show to this individual the supple breastings of me through the emailing file. In the future this will be quite the difference of thingings. You are welcome the Fark.com website.

mikerylander: To be honest, there is a lot of good, "real" feedback coming outta this thread.
Which is good.
Although our viewership is consistently rising as a whole, and our internet-wide viewership doing well, I've always been personally-saddened that the *core* Fark community has rejected us.

It's my personal mission to change that.

All of the feedback and suggestions given here are being considered. My ego never gets in the way of making good content.

Also, shows like Tosh.0 and The Wheaton Project and The Soup are television shows with television budgets. We are a web show with a web show budget. HUGE difference. They have writers' rooms. We have A writer. They have a team of producers, and assistants, and etc. We have me. And like 2 other people. We're a fledging web show with *potential* to grow. So someday, we'll have those luxuries. But as of now, we don't. And trust me, as someone with lots of experience in many different capacities, the whole strength by numbers thing is real.

So, I go back to work tomorrow... Poll; do most of you give enough shiats to have me include Fark comments in the videos? I stopped doing them because I thought you all didn't care. But if you do...

Secondary Poll: What else would you like me to include or do or not do in tomorrow's WTFark video? I go to work in 7 hours, so here is your chance to have hands-on feedback and change.

I'm going to keep making these guys, so we might as well make them together and be friends...

I liked the farker comments, and like I said, I really don't get the hate. It's not like anyone is forced to watch it. The link is on the side, and people who want to watch it, will click on it. No big deal.

Just don't take a pic of my ass when I'm at the beach, please.

mikerylander: At the end of the day, we just want to be a little piece of the Fark community.
We're open for suggestion, we're open for input.
But we're here, and we're not going anywhere.

So, maybe we all become friends?

Here's my suggestion:
1. Be funny
2. Don't be not funny

DuudeStanky: mikerylander:

What would you do? Be super superficial and pretend you were there all along? Do the "backwards hat, 'hey guys, I'm one of you!' bullshiat you're talking about? No way. I have no pitch. I'm not the man. I'm just a guy making a show.  I'm not posting this comment on "company time" or "on the clock." I'm not some sort of paid social media manager or some bullshiat.

I'm not on salary and this interaction isn't some paid social media stunt bullshiat. I'm having this conversation on my own time because I'm generally trying to connect to the community, and, as I always do on the internet, and in life, I'm over sharing about myself so that Farkers are like, "oh, he's a just a dude like me, trying his best."

If you view me as suit guy with a backwards hat, then I guess I can't do much about that.

But that's definitely not me...

Damn near everyone on this site is an alt, so learn from them to gain their acceptance. Play a role, take on a persona.. something. Just knock it off with the breaking the fourth wall stuff by saying "I'm an outsider! I have a real-life job and I get paid to make these videos."

What is your role going to be in this community?

Who are you going to be in this picture?

If he's going to be a hot young female with big knockers then I'm going to have to start revising my opinions.

And watching WTFark.

Cpl.D: SuperDeluxe.  Fark TV.

Heh.

img2u.info

They deserved scorn, because they aspired to be humorous re-enactments of stories on Fark. They laid a turd so smelly, that by its very nature, its odor has permeated every side project of Fark since, whether it deserves it or not.

Cpl.D: And a constructive note:  You wanna get some views?  Go down to Lexington and interview Henry Earl.  We haven't heard from the good man in far too long.

This isn't a bad idea, either. I realize it isn't always practical, though. Some stories need a BS filter, or Gaydar display, too - not sure what sort of graphic or the best delivery might be, though; just remember snark rules on Fark.

Whatever you do, don't pander to the Bronies, though... no need to piss them off, either, but never, ever pander to them. They are a part of the Fark ecosystem like the mosquitos that bother me when I hike. I try and ignore them mostly, and avoid known spawning grounds (Like Broncos and Colts football threads)

We love to hate on things and poke fun at them. Taking away our ability to comment kind of subverted the entire purpose of fark.

At that point it is exploitation of our snark...

Hence the reason every good thread has this posted at least once.

calbert: Mike Rylander, the answer to "whatever happened to Jim J. Bullock"?

I've heard Ben Affleck, I've heard David Boreanaz, I've heard Wally Szczerbiak, I've heard Ryan Reynolds.
Hell, I've heard young Ted Danson.
But this is hands-down the most unintentionally offensive one of the lot.
...thank you?

I would update, but Ran never posts anymore. Sad really.

Oh, god, and to think I finally had several years of peace.  Forgetting that something like SuperDeluxe had ever existed.  I had finally transcended to post-SuperDeluxe-dom.  And damn if you didn't drag me right back into the world that created it.

Good on you Rylander. This can go one of two ways: You can become shamed before the whole world for perving chicks; or you can dive right in and brag you did it.

Cpl.D: brimed03: Well, that's it: WTFark has officially jumped the shark.

/let's face it, it was doa anyhow

What turned you off with it?  Was it the sweat, or the dead man's balls?

I watched 30 seconds of one episode. I know, I know: hardly fair to base judgments on that... but it was bad. The host was so banal, his patter so cookie-cutter and boring, the attempts at humor so forced... sometimes you can just tell right away. You just know this thing is stillborn and you can't watch any more.

Lee Jackson Beauregard: So how did subby get primer commentario in the headline without getting filter pwned?

Don't look at it. Shut your eyes.  Don't look at it, no matter what happens!

An even worse crime is if he was taking pictures of men. Because what's worse than being "massage-anistic" is liking pictures of men.

Not to mention the medium. Photography is the lowest form of art. We should probably prevent him from painting* or writing poetry about anyone's bodies because someone might be getting off somewhere.
