mikerylander: To be honest, there is a lot of good, "real" feedback coming outta this thread.Which is good.Although our viewership is consistently rising as a whole, and our internet-wide viewership doing well, I've always been personally-saddened that the *core* Fark community has rejected us.It's my personal mission to change that. All of the feedback and suggestions given here are being considered. My ego never gets in the way of making good content. Also, shows like Tosh.0 and The Wheaton Project and The Soup are television shows with television budgets. We are a web show with a web show budget. HUGE difference. They have writers' rooms. We have A writer. They have a team of producers, and assistants, and etc. We have me. And like 2 other people. We're a fledging web show with *potential* to grow. So someday, we'll have those luxuries. But as of now, we don't. And trust me, as someone with lots of experience in many different capacities, the whole strength by numbers thing is real. So, I go back to work tomorrow... Poll; do most of you give enough shiats to have me include Fark comments in the videos? I stopped doing them because I thought you all didn't care. But if you do...Secondary Poll: What else would you like me to include or do or not do in tomorrow's WTFark video? I go to work in 7 hours, so here is your chance to have hands-on feedback and change.I'm going to keep making these guys, so we might as well make them together and be friends...
mikerylander: At the end of the day, we just want to be a little piece of the Fark community. We're open for suggestion, we're open for input. But we're here, and we're not going anywhere. So, maybe we all become friends?
DuudeStanky: mikerylander:What would you do? Be super superficial and pretend you were there all along? Do the "backwards hat, 'hey guys, I'm one of you!' bullshiat you're talking about? No way. I have no pitch. I'm not the man. I'm just a guy making a show. I'm not posting this comment on "company time" or "on the clock." I'm not some sort of paid social media manager or some bullshiat.I'm not on salary and this interaction isn't some paid social media stunt bullshiat. I'm having this conversation on my own time because I'm generally trying to connect to the community, and, as I always do on the internet, and in life, I'm over sharing about myself so that Farkers are like, "oh, he's a just a dude like me, trying his best."If you view me as suit guy with a backwards hat, then I guess I can't do much about that. But that's definitely not me...Damn near everyone on this site is an alt, so learn from them to gain their acceptance. Play a role, take on a persona.. something. Just knock it off with the breaking the fourth wall stuff by saying "I'm an outsider! I have a real-life job and I get paid to make these videos."What is your role going to be in this community?Who are you going to be in this picture?
Cpl.D: SuperDeluxe. Fark TV.
Cpl.D: And a constructive note: You wanna get some views? Go down to Lexington and interview Henry Earl. We haven't heard from the good man in far too long.

Cpl.D: brimed03: Well, that's it: WTFark has officially jumped the shark./let's face it, it was doa anyhowWhat turned you off with it? Was it the sweat, or the dead man's balls?
Lee Jackson Beauregard: So how did subby get primer commentario in the headline without getting filter pwned?
