THANK YOU to all of you who made this series a REAL TREAT to watch with you.  Thank you for correcting me when I was wrong, thank you for making fun of the fundies, and not making fun of my religiousness.

Maybe not the poetry of Sagan, but an eloquent plea for sanity. A good thumbprint for Neil's message with this iteration.

Every once in a while you have to immerse yourself in stuff like this to help inoculate yourself against the anti-science that's become so thick these last few decades.

crypticsatellite: Alt text is an HTML thing that displays a user-settable text if the image cannot display. It says, "Au revoir, Cosmos."

Huh....can't say I really know what that means. But okie dokie.

I'm buying it, partly for that reason.

We know that NdT won't host it, but I'm sure they could find someone else who would do a great job. With or without NdT we NEED this show and things like it.

trekkiecougar: The thought of the Voyager probes gives me chills. It's fascinating to imagine some being examining them after we're long gone. I have the greatest respect for the folks who designed and cconstructed them.

"Murmurs of Earth: The Voyager Interstellar Record" (Sagan) is the book to hunt down.

http://goldenrecord.org/ is cool in the meantime.
