This isn't the behavior of someone who is ever going to have a family.  Sounds like her "partner" is settling.

Somebody needs to give her a lifetime of therapy

Her crazy level is way above her hot.

I'd figure the denizens of Fark would applaud this woman since she's more or less doing it out of spite

This was an episode of 2.5 Men, BK

Headline makes her sound nucking futs however, reading the article this turns out to not be the case. She is a photographer with a sense of humour, and this was a project by her as a reaction to all the pressure for a woman to marry and have children.

Good for her.

2014-06-08 05:17:11 AM
A wedding is on the cards, however. This month, Heintz will "renew her vows" to Chauncey in a ceremony attended by friends and family, with her real-life partner as best man. Her mother must be so disappointed. "Well, she definitely didn't appreciate the joke initially, but now she's my biggest fan," says Heintz. "Or maybe she's finally given up."

Dayum that is some f*cked up but sweet revenge.

They even get upset about the inflatable child!

I read that whole freaking over-written article, and the whole thing, while trying to paint her as some new-age feminist just proving a point, ended up painting her the psycho fixated weirdo she is.

Who gives that much of a shiat if their mother wants them to get married and have kids already?  Who goes that far?

She's like a performance artist who forgot it was a performance and went full-tilt-crazy with the whole thing.

And I'm glad she hasn't reproduced.

Well if that's not allowed anymore I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

This is awesome!

If all the crazy-eyes people start doing this, it's going to make dating so much easier. They'll all be out of the pool, over in the hot tub with Chauncey.

In a generation or two maybe it'll even reduce the level of genetic crazy-eyes to near zero.

It's because the pros and the anti's start bickering, and people start posting NSFW pictures.

You haven't met her mother, who is apparently a Mormon in Utah. This could well be considered an under-reaction.

Badgers: Wasn't this an episode of "Criminal Minds"?

Sometimes I think all the major TV shows just have their writers sit and read Fark threads to come up with storylines.

No.  Really.

If she's serious with this, someone needs to keep an eye on her. She's one step away from getting a man and child into her home and slipping them cyanide so they don't "leave" her.

If it's all an attempt at some humorous social comment, it isn't very funny.

If it's art, it isn't very original.

Nope

Weird. I wonder where she got the idea that only women are pressured by their families to get married and have kids. My nephew is 28 and unmarried and by the reaction of some people, you'd think we're on the eve of destruction.

2014-06-08 06:44:46 AM
She's got a real life flesh and blood 'partner'. - so she's not totally crazy

she grew up in a mormon family - which is liable to make you crazy, especially about sex and marriage/family

Chauncey, you can have her my man.

This is not the end point of this type of crazy. There is a logical next stage..

Initially I found it mildly amusing myself.

However, when I noticed that there are people in this thread who seem to have their panties in a wad about it, calling her pants on head crazy, or saying they're glad she isn't polluting the gene pool and never will, or whatever, my respect for her has actually gone up. Methinks she's done well to touch so many nerves.
