Wow that list mostly sucks. In "Brokedown Palace" the starlets don't even suffer a bad hair day while in prison!

So softcore then?

Subby, if you don't think that every women's prison movie is that kind of movie, you're obviously not trying hard enough.

I know these lists are highly subjective but as a huge fan of the genre, that list pained me greatly.

If it wasn't produced by Samuel L. Bronkowitz, don't waste my time.

Some of the "that kind" of movies had more intelligent plots than most of these, especially Double Jeopardy.
Also most had Roberta Collins, which is good.

Deslided plz. And if it doesn't have "Ilsa She Wolf of the SS" list is BS.

I hope you're all sitting down for this, but they were actually making movies before 1999.

Wait, this and Ilsa weren't on the list? The era of women's prison movies was over long before 1999. More like 1979.

For the 13 year old Wee Duane Dibbley the shower scene alone was well worth the cost of waiting up for the rest of the Dibbley family to go to bed before watching with the sound turned down very low. Even though Wendy O Williams had a face like it had been set on fire then stamped out by someone wearing golf shoes.

I've seen some of Brokedown Palace.. wasn't exactly fun, even with such hot actresses.

I once watched Caged Fury on Amazon Prime some months ago.. hoo boy, was it bad.  Erik Estrada as the good guy who gets the good girl at the end, but he wasn't in it that much.  James Hong as the real LAPD detective, as opposed to the fake cops running the prison.  Ron Jeremy as a prison guard, doesn't speak, or do much of anything.  Oh, and Paul Smith as the head guard, best known as Bluto in Robin Williams' Popeye movie.

I prefer Jail House Girls, starring Ginger Lynn.

Good to see the real WiP pictures represented by Farkers (i.e. Corman Classics and the like)  I'd like to nominate "Fake-Out" starring the doubly talented Pia Zadora, Telly Savalas, Desi Arnaz, Jr., and Larry Storch.  Pia gets locked away for contempt of court for not testifying against her sleazy boyfriend, and the fun starts there.  Kudos to the director for emphasizing jailhouse aerobics (not a euphemism) and the importance of women's hygiene and making sure the inmates shower enough.
