That's nothing, I have this trick where I get a strike then throw a gutter ball the next frame.

So, if this guy is so damned accurate, how come he doesn't bowl 300 every game?

Im'ma gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say "editing".

Also, as clever as the skate park shots were to set up, it's easy to get a strike if you set up the pins all touching one another. Much harder when they're spread out in the regulation rack.

That's what I was thinking as I watched that. "Gee... he doesn't even need any accuracy past touching the 1 pin."

Also a lot of the "trick" shots involved throwing strikes and then placing objects or people just out of the hook anyways. That's only special for people who can't throw a hook.

There was a lot of screaming in that video.

It was like if Mountain Dew's advertising team was put in charge of trying to make bowling "hip" again.

I wasn't really impressed, until the shot with 2 balls.

Funny, your mom said that very thing to me last night.

That was the most impressive one for me too.

Yeah - It seems like the harder part of that shot is leaving the 6 pin up for the slow one to hit. The gutter-7-11 was neat too

He has perfect lane conditions for these shots, with consistent oiling. Throughout a regulation game the oil pattern might be different (more or less which affects your shot). Plus you are changing lanes every other frame and other folks are bowling too. Since most bowlers are right handed and are aiming for the same 1-3 pocket and entry angle, the oil shifts from that line and he'd have to adjust.
