And yet Wayne Rooney still looked grumpy after "scoring" his "goal." Talk about thievery.

Brown sauce? This is a sauce that is just brown flavored?

I looked it up, what he said is that he would allow their wifes and girlfriends to visit.

Though I guess you can extrapolate to the implication that they could suddenly gain local girlfriends, for the night.

Seeing as it's Brazil, they're local "chicks".

The Lee & Perrins steak sauce is closest to stuff like Daddies Sauce in Britain. Thick, spicier and not as fruity as HP Sauce.

Growing up in teh UK, I recall my dad slathering HP on everything. It made no sense to me as a kid, nor does it now as an adult, especially when he's always been a picky eater and refuses to even try some stuff because "i don't like the taste". List includes pasta, cheese (except on pizza when you apparently cannot taste it), anything at all with an element of spice and, until a few years ago, rice.

The thing that grossed me out was that he'd use the same knife to spread the HP sauce on and spread butter form the butter dish so if you wanted, say, a slice of bread and butter and he got there first, the butter had HP sauce on it. Farkin' too bad; that's the way it went growing up as a kid.

HP rocks. It doesn't seem as good since Heinz started making it but, tasty none the less.

Since midpoint isn't in this thread yet, let me post the details of the World Cup prediction mini-league he's set up for soccer/football Farkers:

"The Fark Fitba Prediction League for the World Cup is now open - all welcome. A simple fun game to fill in the excitement gaps in [say] Switzerland Vs Ecuador, or Netherlands Vs. Spain.

Go to: http://predictor.talksport.co.uk

Please join under your Fark name or closest possible. Slapdash amateurism is very much in our idiom.

Search for our private mini-league: FD3AE-RFX

See the Talksports pages for help on making predictions.

We'll take scores from the 1st round of games commencing 12th June. If you miss this deadline don't worry, you won't be far behind the leaders.."

Scorpitron is reduced to a thin red paste: English food is as shiatty as England's chances in the World Cup.

Don't matter what the sauce.

Chips with curry are awesome.
