"I feel its been at times a little crazy and at times a little surreal, perhaps no more so than recently because of the whole trial, [and] the criminal prosecution. It's something that I never really expected or thought that I would be facing," D'Souza told The Christian Post on Tuesday. "But I've tried to face it with honesty and dignity."

Yeah, well you f*cking failed, f*cknut.

There may not be a bigger asshole in America than this guy.

I don't think it should come as any surprise that the GOP rushes to defend adulterous felons.

I want to set the record straight: I never thought I'd get caught.

"I am surrounded by a group of strong and committed Christian men, about half-dozen of them, and I travel with them and use them as a sounding board, not only for personal advice but for general wisdom," he said. "It's good. I've never had that kind of a male fraternity of Christians. They are just friends and it's good for me."

Huh, it apparently made $33 million on a $2.5 million budget. How in the hell was it on over 2,000 screens?

$3,281,259 (USA) (9 September 2012) (2,017 Screens)

Hmm... just a couple days before Benghazi. Coincidence?

It's pretty much a given.  The level of hypocrisy is beyond belief.  But it's useless to get in a lather over it.  The type of voter who is admiring of this human cock-punch wouldn't care anyway. Obama Derangement Syndrome has the affect of cognitive dissonance in the conservative brain.

I'm not so familiar with this guy. Does "cuckold" mean he was bopping some married woman with her husband's knowledge, and perhaps observation, or is it the vanilla she was cheating on her husband with this guy.

I find this important to know and google has failed me.

Mr. D'Souza was married but claimed at the time that his marriage was "over" and that he and his wife had been separated for two years.  He actually filed for divorce shortly after the conference where he and Ms. Joseph shared a room.

Ms. Joseph was also married at the time.  As far as I can tell from Googling, she is still married so I would guess that her marriage wasn't on the rocks at the time the way Mr. D'Souza's was.

None of this would be any kind of issue except that Mr. D'Souza a) makes a living berating others for not upholding family values, b) holds himself up as a holier-than-thou vessel of Christ, and c)  worked at the time for a religion-based employer who expected him to maintain moral standards in exchange for his seven-figure salary.

(not to mention that whole "felony" thing....)

After Mr. D'Souza's conclusion, a question and answer period ensued for about two hours. Some of the students asked questions about his policies; others argued with his speech. Mr. D'Souza noted that he was able to say things which would be much more controversial if he were not South Asian.
Gesturing at his color, he said, "I enjoy a certain ethnic immunity that a white man would not have."

Maybe he can use his ethnic immunity to get off. . .

The honesty and dignity part is hilarious. He tried to get the case thrown out because Obama was personally persecuting him. The dude is pathetic scum.

When I first learned about the existence of Dinesh D'Souza I thought he was just another guy who got some kind of education and needed to make a buck and found a lucrative gig selling Derp to a willing audience.  But then I saw him speak, in the press and on Maher's show.  Holy fark... this dude is hanging on by a very slim thread.  He is a more genuinely nutty than Hannity or maybe Beck even.  Guy is first class shiatstorm spewing asshole, is what I'm saying.

Bill Clinton was the one to sign the Defense of Marriage Act while getting hummers and possibly raping girls.  I missed your outrage on that.

Well I missed your outrage at thousands of people dying because we entered a war that was based on the lie.

Possibly raping girls?  What the hell?  Making up things out of whole cloth now.  Whatever you say about the blowjob, it was clearly consensual.

If you're going to rebut a "b-b-but CLINTON!" I think it's only fair to have to reach back an equivalent length of time.

"B-b-but Watergate ..!" should work.

/pointing and laughing at the partisan schmuck who had to reach back almost 20 years to grab a non-sequitur in order to defend Dinesh D'Souza aka "The Cheating Felon for Jesus" , "Di D'ouchebag", "D'vorced"

/also, how come these partisan schmucks can never tell the difference between "outrage" and "pointing & laughing"?  they have the same schtick with sarah palin.  nobody's "afraid" or "outraged"!  we're mocking your tribal leaders.  that's different from "outrage"!

Monica wasn't the only girl he was with.  While she says it was consensual, others do not. Study it out.

So the people involved say it was consensual, but you're going to go with "others" who weren't involved but claim it was not.

Makes perfect sense, if you're a retarded teabagger. (pardon the redundancy)

Interestingly enough, it looks like a significant majority of the posters on that site are rejecting his apology as being genuine.  A number are going with the "he's not sorry he did it, he's only sorry he got caught" standard.
