Well that sucked.

I don't think we needed a reminder that Youtube was out of touch and on their way down the tubes, but thanks anyways I guess. ;-/

More Numa Numa guy too.

Being how YouTube considers my account to be a "legacy account" (I've been on there since the very start) I'm surprised they didn't ask ME to participate!

/having a "legacy account" meant that when Google bought Y/T, I was exempted from having to jump through hoops...i.e., become a Google+ member or whatever it was called...to keep my original account.

Envious! The SOBs wanted to tie my YouTube handle to my Gmail address. Would not have been a big deal except my Gmail is my outsourced ISP address. Net result is that I will never log into YouTube again.

Huh? I thought it was that way for everyone. I've had an account for a long time too but I just assumed that it was the same for everyone.

There is no amount of suck in the universe that can be refunded to give me the 20 seconds of my life back.

Before I was given this so-called "exemption", YouTube blocked my access and temporarily made all my videos vanish unless I linked everything to Google (or something like that, I don't recall the specifics right now). I did not want to do that. After about a month of back-and-forth with them, they finally un-vanished my videos and gave my access back. It was at that point that I decided Google sucks (that is, the company itself---of course, I still use Google for normal things). Google makes like it's all hip and cool but in reality I think their whole "do no harm" (or whatever) "we're your friends" bullshiat is just bullshiat.

That is because that bloated whale is on minute 16 of his 15 minutes.   Time to move on.
