I just bought them a few days ago. They had birthday cake frosting filled, and resees filled. They didn't put enough cream in the cookies, and it just tastes like a bit sweeter regular chocolates chip cookies..... They are still sitting here if anybody wants to come over and try them.

But then who says 'Murka has lost all sense of innovation. There's still plenty of it out there. Too bad it's all to feed the Food-Medical Industrial Complex.

Yuck, The only good thing about Oreos is the cookie bit. The "cream" is pure hurl.

You know what I want? ZERO STUFF OREOS. Fark Double Stuff or Quad Stuff or ALL STUFF.

Just give me the cookie bits.

Meh. Rippin' Good brand used to have chocolate creme between two chocolate chip cookies. Thankfully, for my waistline, they don't make them anymore.

This is the problem.  If you had any sense of taste at all, you'd make your own cookies.  That shiat that is sold in bags at the grocery are absolutely tasteless, nasty crap.

If you had any standards, you could stay thin.

/Cause I LOVE some good junk food.  But if you're going to have it, it should at least taste good.

I would give these a try, I'm not gonna lie.

But, I think its probably a bit too cloying and sweet.

However:  the cafeteria at my job does its own baking, and at least twice a week they make chocolate
chips cookies with crubled Oreos mixed into the dough that are quite yummy.

I just wish Oreo sold combo packages.  They've got so many random variations lately, but I don't want to buy a full bag.  Even if they just sold them in the 6 packs like you find in vending machines, it would be way better than buying a whole package and learning that that particular variant was horrible.

Actually, that's not true.  Fructose is fructose.  It's chemically identical whether you get it from HFCS or sugar.

In fact, fructose may be *better* than sugar, as sugar contains both glucose and fructose, and part of fructose's function relates to glucose.

http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/86/4/895.full

In this study, sugar caused greater weight gain that fructose:
http://www.jci.org/articles/view/37385 http://www.sciencedaily.com /releases/2009/04/090420182151.htm
You'll note, however, that the fructose group's internal abdominal fat increased more than the sugar group.  Thus, it's not fair to say that fructose is *good* for you... it doesn't cause as much weight gain as sugar, but the weight gain it causes may be worse for certain issues (such as heart disease).

The most terrible thing my vet school roommate ever did was teach me to make brownie/cookie bars.  Just make brownies and cookie dough.  Put whatever brownie batter you didn't eat in the pan, top with whatever chocolate chip cookie dough you didn't eat, bake and NOMNOMNOM.

and even as fat as I now sound...I kind of think filling chocolate chip cookies with Oreo cream might be a bit much...

\just start selling tubes of the cream and I'll be good.

That's where my "chemically identical to the fructose in sugar" comes from.  The benefit, if you want to call it that, of sugar is that it spikes insulin levels as well, but this is bad because it leads to insulin resistance.

I have no idea where that comment comes from, but no - smaller countries react to alarmist voters faster than bigger countries.  The science behind GMO foods is sound.
