Ah.... not even close to the first. Hell, Shapeways and Makerbot - two of the biggest players in the field - have been located here for years. Maybe the first 3D printing dental factory but considering how common 3D printing is getting to be in manufacturing I'd even doubt it.

My dentist already has an in-office filling carver.  It carves down from a block, not up from scratch, but same day fillings from digital measurements, and you can watch it in action.
