Bob Falfa: Only on SFGate is this news.
IronTom: They did, for some strange environmentalist. But they did not change it for Memorial Day. (Well they changed it for about an hour with a little tiny sort of patriotic icon, and quickly removed it). Seems evil.
Ambivalence: You just know some bigshot with severe OCD has been fuming about that slightly mis-oriented L for years and FINALLY got someone to take him or her seriously enough to fix it.That's what that seems like.
jaylectricity: The initial version wasn't quite dramatizing the paradigm shift they were hoping to achieve.
Gig103: They certainly know how to empower their cross-functional tiger teams to leverage their user-interface knowledgebase.
YodaBlues: IronTom: They did, for some strange environmentalist. But they did not change it for Memorial Day. (Well they changed it for about an hour with a little tiny sort of patriotic icon, and quickly removed it). Seems evil. This country has effectively shiat on it's veterans 364 days out of every year since it's inception, no big deal. But Google not changing it's logo for Memorial Day is the outrage.
EvilEgg: This country pays a ton of respect to it's military. The problem is that you can't eat respect. The other problem is there is too damn many veterans, if we would think more about the human cost of military, perhaps we would fight less and have a smaller force.
Principal Clarinet: [rack.2.mshcdn.com image 538x190]Can tell by the pixels./not really
AverageAmericanGuy: Well, thank goodness there are vigilant Redditors around to pick up on important changes like this.
MadMonk: The old one is so much better, I for one, am never using Google again.
MaudlinMutantMollusk: Google couldn't find a single f*ck for me to give
kregh99: The fact that anyone devoted significant time to the shifting of two letters by two pixels is one of the stupidest things ever.
