Good for them. I know Florida won the football and men's basketball championships in 2006-2007, but did their baseball team come close to winning it all that year? I know, too lazy to look up.

You are comparing Div 1 to Div 3. Kind of apples an oranges.

Their 'level' being tardtastic

When my sister was there the chief sport was boozing. They came 1st in brandy and 2nd in beer. Or vice versa. Brandy was news to me. Wisconsin boozers like brandy? Who knew? I thought people quit drinking brandy once the Thin Man movie series quit filming.

So we should just assume that they're breaking every NCAA rule then?

Wisconsinites drink more brandy than anything else in that state.  Seriously, when I was getting a job tending bar, the owner asked me, "Can you pour a shot, open a bottle of beer and make a brandy old fashioned?"

That's really all you need to know in order to tend bar in Wisconsin.

Yeah, back 25 years ago when I was a teenager tending bar on Saturday mornings for my parents bar in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin... the old guys would come in for coffee and a shot of brandy.

Whitewater? I demand that this be investigated.

they're also full of shiat. They're bug enough to be a D2 school or maybe even a small D1, but they stay at D3 just to beat up on people. So eat a bag of dicks UWW

Texas or Stanford could pull off the trifecta, too, at the D-1 level

Size of the school has nothing to do with it. If they play by the D3 scholarship and other rules, they are D3. Kinda the opposite of Duke and Wake Forest being really tiny schools that pony up the funds to reach D1.

No1curr.

But hey my kid's little league team won all three titles, too! Probably against tougher competition.

And I am guessing that this is a "special" triple crown because football, baseball and basketball are the top 3 U.S. pro leagues?  I mean, I am guessing a school has probably won Lacrosse, Cross Country and Water Polo in the same year... woohoo, Triple Crown!

Nope, Missed the regionals and the coach was canned. They've never won it all

Oregon, Washington, LSU, Florida St, and a few others could theoretically pull it off, but yeah.  Not likely.

Thinking of brandy, I need to pick up some cheap stuff. I've got some cherries to soak, and I'm too cheap to use maraschino. That shiat's expensive.

Yup, around here an old fashioned is generally assumed to be made with brandy unless you specify otherwise.
The brandy drink I recently got into is the "horse's neck" -> brandy with ginger ale and a dash of bitters.  Tried it because I got some Gosling's ginger beer (non-alcoholic) and found it almost too strong to drink on its own, and I found the horse's neck is surprisingly good.

At least they have that going for them... Whitewater is a shiathole.
