The slightly uneven vocal performances are more than made up for by the sheer energy, and the spot on
David Tennant impersonation.

I could totally see him doing it himself (well, except for his bad back).

Very nice. I think Charles Gray would approve of his Dalek impersonator.

Trifecta complete?
Snooki is looking pretty terrific these days.

That was a lot better than I thought it would be.

Definitely not an inexpensive production.

This was good fun! the daleks were the best part. Just reminded me that Donna was the best companion... Well for Tennant... Rory is another matter...

Agree completely about Donna...

...and the coolest Tardis-come-nite-club ever.

Sigh... It's 'cum' And it's usually, though not always, pronounced "koom". For being British, you guys sure don't understand how your language works, do you?

cum1
koom,kəm/
preposition
combined with; also used as (used to describe things with a dual nature or function).
"a study-cum-bedroom"

That was really cool... Awesome, in fact.

Until the song got over and they had 3 minutes talking about whether or not you were going to be forced to subscribe to the YouTube channel by  a Dalek. That ran really long, and I still have 2 minutes left...

The only problem with the whole Time Warp number though was the decision not to have something in during Columbia's tap dance part, the little pantomime thing killed the momentum. Otherwise, that thing was top notch.

OK. I now know the dividing line between Doctor Who - Liker and Doctor Who - Freak.

I fall on the short side.

Huh, their David Tennant sure looks a lot like Sue Perkins...

While I ended up enjoying the Matt Smith run, and just Matt Smith in general... I would have to say it did it's best to basically pretend David Tennant never happen. As none of the characters ever came back (that I can remember) and instead just focused on Amy Pond and River Song.

What about Martha Jones? Jack Harkness? Donna Noble?! What the hell?

When they went from Nine to Ten, it felt like everything carried over... but with Matt Smith, it's a rather jarring change completely. Not that it was bad or anything. The 50th anniversary was great.

But it just feels like they lost a lot of the sense of "Fun" in the MTS3K way. Like before Smith, everything felt like "it's just a show, you should really just relax" and enjoy it. Til the "10 is space jesus!" stuff, at least. Then everything became EPIC this, and EPIC that.

Just my take on it all.

I agree. Series 5 and 6 were pretty joyless and weird, but series 7 seemed to get the spirit back. "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" was just pure, unfiltered awesome. And the show got really, really great. Then it ended. I hope series 8 keeps the same kind of tone that the 7th series had.

(Maybe I just enjoyed the "no Amy Pond" aspect to series 7?)

After that youtube video I now am going to have to rewatch the tennant years.  He was fun.  Plus Captain Jack was a great side story.  Like ThatBillManGuy said they stopped all of the old side stories and those side stories is what made the series interesting.  Amy Pond was not interesting and the new girl was a bit boring also.  I'll still watch every episode but it seems like the "magic" of the show is wearing thin.

Strax may not have appeared for another year & a half, but Dan Starkey 1:43 is when Strax was born.
