twiztedjustin: 100 feet will kill you no matter how deep the water is.
Ex-Texan: We have the ol Hamilton Pool near Austin,a collapsedlimestone cave, where in the '70s, and on private land, you pay the farmer a few bucks to go through the barbed wire, and jump off the top, a bit over a hundred feet, there were a few rocks there, occasionally, you'd hear of someone hitting one. A few people paralyzed, a couple killed. This was before the rancher gave it to the state. It's slowly undergone "improvements, making it nicer, or as I tell my kids "Gay it up".NTTAWWT. If you swim to the center, you can try to swim to the bottom, but I've never touched it. you get water dripping off the limestone, that's really cold.As I've been told about rappeling "it's not the fall that kills you, but the sudden stop at the end". It was a lot of fun, until it wasn't.BTW, the Six flags reference was funny as Ph^ck. I really laughed out loud when I read it.Alcohol NOT involved. Really?
Tyrone Slothrop: If video games have taught me correctly, he should be fine. You can fall any distance into chest-high water or deeper without suffering injury.
weapon13: spawn73: He should have belly flopped, then he wouldn't have hit the bottom. Now that would have been something to see...
