I love watching the pros at work.  Never a misstep.

TheOther: I guess they need a new Chief of Station.

Obama will announce his choice for the new Chief of Station at a news conference Tuesday

Obama on Tuesday: "Oh dammit! Don't print his name, OK!

Obama on Wednesday: "OK, we're going call him "the new guy" and we're passing out a copy of his picture now....What?  Oh shiat!  Gimme those!"

Obama on Thursday: "I'm not saying nothing about nothing!  Good day!  And it's all your fault this happened with your stupid questions!  It's not my fault!"

bwilson27: walktoanarcade: AspectRatio: George W. Bush will be remembered as one of our worst.

That would be because he was one of the worst, just like the current president.

Obama is Dubya on 'roids in many ways.  Sure, some social positions are different, but the policies  are still making Americans poor and take away our rights and freedoms. And he's been lying to everyone, just like George W. Bush(and his father H.W.).

Both parties are run by rich people.

Now, rich people are not the enemy, but the ones who want too much(and usually stop at nothing to get it) are certainly not our friends.

Name a few things Obama has done that was so farking horrible. Go ahead. And try not to echo Fox news.

Go ahead and list stuff Obama has done that is bad, but don't list any news sources whatsoever.
Go ahead, I dare you.

When Obama burns you, you've got nothing: no cash, no credit, no job history. You're stuck in whatever city they decide to dump you in. You do whatever work comes your way. You rely on anyone who's still talking to you. A trigger-happy ex-girlfriend... An old friend who used to inform on you to the FBI, family too... if you're desperate.

Bottom line? If Obama burns you... you're not going anywhere.

Yes, and they probably believe that I am some Fox News watching sycophant.

It may bother them on a deep level that I have no allegiance to the GOP either as well.

The "team" thing will be the end of America; America used to be united, now it's more divided than ever.

Thanks to who??? Thanks to WHO??????

Yes, them and CNN.  And HuffPo and The New York Times;et al. CNN and Fox News hurt America plenty.

And real journalism is in the toilet.

Pretty sure the military is going to know who the Chief of Station is and work closely with him, including participating in briefings.

Then I'm pretty sure they'll blame some E-4.

I wouldn't doubt it.
We are always being told that he is the smartest person to ever hold the office of President.
Then again, he must not be doing much Presidenting since he only learns about what his staff is doing when he hears about it on the news.

The administration (whichever one is in power at the time) should just hire a new person each week with the explicit aim of firing him/her on Friday as a scapegoat.  Blame all of that weeks fark-ups & scandals on the sacrificial victim and throw him/her under the bus (with a generous severance package).

It'd be less disruptive to the administration as a whole.

Trying to equate this to the whole Plame/Wilson/yellow cake affair is pretty desperate.  Just examine this as a standalone event.  Whoever put his name on the list is incompetent.  Whoever checked it and didn't catch the error is incompetent.  Nothing comes out of any White House without being checked and re-checked and then approved.  Whoever authorized the release is incompetent.

I doubt there is anyway any of this could ever be tied. directly or indirectly, to Obama.  I doubt any President reads 99% of White House releases.  But it appears he does have more than one incompetent person on his staff.

Now for a snarky comment:  If the news media doesn't report this, Obama will never know about it.
