It's just like winning the lottery. People who get some easy money just tend to burn through it and are no better off (and usually worse off) than when they started. We humans are dumb that way.


Yeah...

If you're impulsive enough to suddenly decide robbing banks is your best financial decision, and continue doing it after getting a well paying job no less, then you're probably not the type of rational conservative person that puts that money away in savings and only uses it as needed. That kinda person is more likely to impulsively purchase everything they fancy until the money is gone.
