Makes sense - Kissinger was one of the most evil men on the planet, until he was eclipsed by Dick Cheney.

Gunny Highway: Christ

If you want to round out the absurdity, there was an issue featuring Aunt May as Galactus's herald, Golden Oldie, teaming up with Franklin Richards.

/I think she defeated Galactus with a Twinkie.

Presumably Doom wanted the help of someone with nicer legs than Hitler and bigger tits than Cher.

"NOT AN IMAGINARY STORY". Nice rack and ass, Granny. Uncle Ben must've hit that like the fist of an angry Asgardian, some nights both before and after "Matlock". And now, your childhood is destroyed.

DC wasn't immune to guest stars, either.

Superman met JFK twice, and one of the times JFK pretended to be Superman (there's a speeding bullet joke in there somewhere), an early 1970s JLA issue featured "Harlequin Ellis", a not even thinly veiled Harlan Ellison stand in, John Walsh was in The Outsiders, there were about a half dozen Jerry Lewis Crossovers, and one time, Superbiy prevented Lex Luthor from preventing Abraham Lincoln's assassination.

Doom's pose in that first panel seems a little strange.  What is with super villains an their overly dramatic poses?

Please, Putin doesn't have the voice or disquieting calmness when surrounded by death.  He's bad, but he doesn't have the bearing of a supervillian.
