Well they did make him a member of the Strike Team in season 7.

They saw the potential murderer in him.

OMG, does no one believe in 'innocent until proved etc' anymore?  A defending barrister here would argue 'abuse of process' and win an application to have the hearing scrapped because there was no way his client would get a fair trial because of comments like that headline and by ontariolightning.
The story says

The Shield star Michael Jace has been detained by police after his wife April Jace was shot dead at the family home.
The 48-year-old actor was taken in for questioning by the Los Angeles Police Department following the death in the Hyde Park neighbourhood on Monday night.

Stick with that until the end of trial
.

No one else is being questioned and most times it is the husband that kills the wife.

You can see him in the video being cuffed. Look at that mans eyes. It tells you all you need to know.

And maybe it wasn't him. Either way, very tragic.

Actor Michael Jace called police himself to report his wife had been shot and he had pulled the trigger Monday night in Los Angeles... TMZ has learned.
According to law enforcement sources Jace called 911 around 8:30 PM and told police ... "I shot my wife."
We're told Jace's neighbors in the Hyde Park area of L.A. had reported shots fired in the Jace home ... and shortly thereafter Jace made his call to 911.
Sources tell us the actor stayed on the phone, as instructed, until LAPD arrived at his home and found his 40-year-old wife, April Jace dead.
Jace -- best know as Detective Lowe from "The Shield" -- was taken into custody and as of 1:00 AM Tuesday ... was being questioned, but had not been booked for his wife's death.

Look, he may or may not. All I am saying it that it's bad practice to condemn someone before time.  What if the reports are wrong, someone 'leaked' bogus information. Remember, this is not a speeding ticket offence here - people have died, surely that is still a thing in the US?

Heh, a kid could say "he touched me there" and your mugshot would be on the television, and you'd be lucky to survive your first day in jail.

He always was one of the honest cops on that show.

They'll probably give him a blanket party.

None of this would have happened if he was armed with a gun. Then he could have shot the intruder.

That is the way it works isn`t it?

Maybe more along the lines of: "If SHE'D had a gun. . . ."

But I thought only bad actors would commit such a crime

I don't get Subby's headline... this guy wasn't in Boogie Nights.

Don Cheadle was the only black guy in that movie as far as I recall.

fark that. I know they had a rough patch over Julian's sexuality but no way would he hurt her. This has Shane's fingerprints all over it

I guess you're not from USA.

But why don't you check up the weekly mugshots posted here. Yes, people get plastered all over the place even for small shiat. Guilty or not.

I don't suppose the "I thought she was a burglar" defense will work any better here than in South Africa?

2014-05-20 07:37:04 AM
Oh okay, I stand corrected.  I guess he was in Boogie Nights.  He must have appeared in that movie like less than a couple minutes and had barely anything to say as I've seen the film a couple times and he didn't really stand out - unlike obviously Cheadle's character.

2014-05-20 07:38:12 AM
I felt like the show wasn't quite sure what to do with Julian after season 3, then they just decided to stick him in the Strike Team in the last season to give his character something to do.

In his defense, Jace's role in Boogie Nights was little more than blink and you miss it.

Ever notice they just left that "killing the cat" thing dangling as an unresolved plot point for the rest of the series?  My wife was waiting for that to come back to bite him in the ass, and if you ask her even today she'll call it a shiat show because he got to strangle a cat without repercussion.

Just to be absolutely clear, he's reported to have confessed. If that report is accurate, however, it's pretty much assured that he did it.

Jace's dead wife looks  a little too tan for the Nancy Grace show. I guess it breaks down to whether one dead black lady will get more ratings than two dead Hispanic men.

My money is on Jace unless another white girl goes missing.
