There's nothing wrong with going into a market dominated by others and putting out a product that people like better, even at the risk of being deemed a "me-too" producer of goods. I used to buy nothing but Sony TVs, now every video-based thing I have, including my computer monitors,  is by Samsung. They initially got me by offering the same features for a lower price. They've kept me by their stuff being high quality and holding up for a long time. So call them copycats as much as you want, they'll smirk as the customer money flows into their bank accounts.

Samsung Electronics is just a part of Samsung.  Even technology is a part of Samsung as a company.  They make some of the largest boats in the world, they are involved in all sorts of healthcare stuff, and runs insurance companies in other countries.
