Gyrfalcon: And what the hell did the dealer need? Some groceries and a few household items?
AtlanticCoast63: ...CSB:In the late 90s, I was called as a witness in a court-martial at Shaw AFB SC - an airman was charged with running up his Government issue AMEX card and then telling the USAF that it had been stolen. I was in the courtroom for the big finish - where the kid is called to the stand, and the prosecutor is setting him up for the hammer. Kid sticks to his story, though, and the prosecutor is getting progressively more pi$$ed off. Finally, they bring out the big gun: a 4'x4' still from an ATM security camera showing the kid getting the money, with a time/date stamp several hours after he said it was stolen. There is NO mistaking who is in the picture, especially with the kid in the stand right next to it. The prosecutor bellows, "Is this you in this photograph?"The kid leans forward, peers at it for a second, and says, "No, sir."The prosecutor's jaw bounces off the floor and everybody in the room is busting up - even the presiding officer of the court-martial is trying to keep from losing it. They found the kid guilty, but he got serious props for sticking to his story.
SDRR: By serious props I assume you mean dishonorable discharge and some jail time, right?
