FTFA: Republicans say they need to find out why security was insufficient, what the president did the night of the attack, why the U.S. military didn't intervene, why initial explanations focused on a protest over a YouTube video and whether the administration deliberately sought to hide evidence about its conduct.

I think I see what's going on. All the previous investigations definitely answered these questions. But those answers hadn't been unskewed.

Republicans need something to fund raise on, and the news networks need something to fill their air time.
Its a perfect symbiosis of sucktitude.

If a Republican has a mirror they know the answer to the security question.

I'll be interested to see how fast Republicans stop caring about Benghazi if Hillary decides not to run.

225,000 that we know of.

You really don't believe that Fartbongo J. Terwilliger Fartbongo, esquire has released the full facts and figures in how many he killed in BENGHAZI, do you?

225,000 is not the official number, and there's a chance it could be as high as half-a-million, depending on how high Obama raised the tax rate in Benghazi right before the attack.  Taxes kill more than just jobs.  But don't tell a liberal that.  They may get so angry they may just try to raise your taxes.

If the GOP gets the senate this fall, I'm looking forward to the inevitable investigation which finds out that Obama still has a library book out from 1987 and the impeachment trial over how he lied under oath when he answered "no" to the question "do you have any outstanding fines or warrants?"

And the GOP echo chamber strikes again. These clowns really think that people outside their talking point bubble actually give a damn about this. They've told each other so many times that it must be true!

If they aren't Fox, they aren't a news outfit. Why would you even ask such a silly question?

As evidenced by all the hearings into the justification of the Iraq war, and the outing of Valerie Plame?  Aside from the asinine 'both sides are bad so we're excused" nature of that comment, isn't it demonstrably false?

You mean like the past seven investigations which have found that the claims of the GOP leadership were unfounded or patently false?

Yeah. I'm sure the eighth investigation will be the smoking gun.

They're just hoping that if they keep looking, they'll eventually find evidence of Obama getting a blow job.

It worked last time.

Well, it might have something to do with cutting the funding for State Department's Security and Protective services.

I mean, call me crazy here, but not having any money to do anything about insecurity might be a problem.

2014-05-18 02:18:43 PM
It's time for the Dems to open their own investigations into the Bush Admin's security failures before 9/11, the implementation of illegal torture, and the faulty intel that got 4000+ Americans killed in a BS war in Iraq.

But of course that will never happen because the Dems are always the f*cking victims and the Reps actually know how to sling shiat.

As a liberal, I can confirm it.

"Class warfare" isn't a hyperbolic metaphor for paying taxes. I literally plan on driving a tank over rich people.
