MERS has no chance if it gets to the south side of Chicago.  Nobody will be able to protect MERS from getting shot or murdered if it gets to Chi-Iraq.

Let me know when MERS kills more people than guns on a typical Tuesday.

Color me shocked if this headline finds its way into the HOTY contest due to buying votes of dead Farkers.

As a Canadian, I can only hope that MERS doesn't know which street Canada is on.

A 30% fatality rate!?

I've come down with the MEHS.  That's when you chronically just don't really care.

More like MEHS.

1930s Headline from the Chicago Tribune:

Al Capone cheekily claims he doesn't know "which street Canada is on". Is he trolling us?

Spot the anachronism.

Correct.

The Chicago Tribune would never have mentioned Canada in a head line in the 1930s.

Lol, the south side isn't THAT bad, just 75% of it. (I'm from Hyde Park, btw. If MERS went to Englewood or Roseland, forget about it!)

A 30% Fatality rate with first world medical treatment.

To compare, Influenza has a less than 1% fatality rate.

/The good news is that every case has been imported. Just stay away from camels.

It will have to pay a pretty hefty bribe if it wants to muscle in on the local union illnesses.

The Illinois man had close contact with the Indiana patient, the CDC said.

People sleep peaceably in their beds only because rough viruses stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

I guess the infected people don't have names for some reason. It might be useful to know their farking names so that we can stay the hell away from them.

Yeah, well, at least we figured out ObamaCare didn't kill all the jobs; the only people out of  work are the ones too lazy to work.

Ah yes, the Bubble.  You guys let Edwardo's die but Medici's live.  Also, you have more cub fans than Rogers Park, so you should feel bad about that, too.

Edwardo's closed? Must have happened after I left. 55th street (where Edwardo's is) has pretty much been closing down businesses left and right due to the University driving up rental prices near campus. Hell, a third of the businesses that were there 2-3 years ago are gone. Hell, I just learned yesterday the business that owned the complex I lived (Ribs N Bibs) in over there is gone for good (no surprise there, actually. The guy's a slumlord and has rats crawling through that whole place).
We have more cubs fans than Rodgers Park? When dd this start happening? Apparently I wasn't notified of this.
