Hmmm. Always wanted one of those things left inside me. Looks like he beat me to it.
2001-12-10 10:11:08 AM
What is scary? The 13 inch tool, or the two inch tool?
2001-12-10 10:12:49 AM
Shouldn't this have a followup tag on it?
2001-12-10 10:13:02 AM
Well at least they owed up to it and the guy did not sue for unreasonable damages.. well I suppose I should wait for the follow up article before I think too highly of the guy
2001-12-10 10:13:17 AM
How the fark do you not notice something like that when sewing the guy up?
2001-12-10 10:14:33 AM
shouldn't this have the 'weiners' tag?
2001-12-10 10:15:42 AM
aghhhhh. I'm a bit squeamish. That was totally too much, I hope it never happens to me. Up here in Canada we don't sue for malpractice the way you all do in the US. Up here they'd remove it, smile, maybe apologise and send you on your way.
2001-12-10 10:16:53 AM
I do believe that there are two tools pictured there.
2001-12-10 10:17:56 AM
Worldcitizen is right, a co-worker just pointed it out to me too. You can see his pecker.
2001-12-10 10:18:27 AM
I thought it was a junior mint.
2001-12-10 10:19:08 AM
Hey he got 97,000$ out of it !
2001-12-10 10:21:04 AM
Didn't the guy have that thing in him for several weeks?

How do you not notice something like that?

I mean - I would assume that some things migh just tip you off... like severe pain and a giant blade poking out of your groin when you bend down.
2001-12-10 10:22:31 AM
How could you not notice a foot-long piece of metal sitting vertically in your gut? I mean, I would imagine that the inability to bend over in itself is enough to make me wonder. Gosh.
2001-12-10 10:22:38 AM
I do believe the 'throckmorton' exam points to a broken left hip
2001-12-10 10:23:51 AM
This thread needs a picture of either John Holmes or Dirk Diggler.
NO RON JEREMY. Please !!!

It is a great Boobies. I'd frame it.
2001-12-10 10:25:00 AM
looks like an average sized penis to me...what, am I sharing this thread with Long Dong Silver and Ron Jeremy?
2001-12-10 10:27:40 AM
He shoved it up his ass and couldn't get it back out, me thinks

2001-12-10 10:34:03 AM

2001-12-10 10:36:01 AM
hey how's it hangin man...

oh just a little to the left...
2001-12-10 10:39:03 AM
Is that your medical opinion ?
I think we should open up your medical bag and make sure you have all your tools, devices, and withcraft thing a ma jigs. You left some stuff in people, too.
Just admit it.
2001-12-10 10:39:39 AM
When they removed it, did he get to keep it?
2001-12-10 10:44:26 AM
I'm sure I would experience shrinkage as well if someone inserted a 13 inch tool in me!
2001-12-10 10:44:56 AM
Any fans of the band "Tool" here?
2001-12-10 10:45:17 AM
That's one way to smuggle a knife onto a plane... Did the security guys run him through the x-ray too, or just the hospital staff?
2001-12-10 10:47:39 AM
My question though is why did he only get 97,000 dollars, seems like next to nothing for something as bad as that?!?!?! But then again, maybe there are circumstances that aren't listed.
2001-12-10 10:47:53 AM
That is absurd. I'm not a big fan of suing but he should get his money from that doc's malpractice insurance. How could you make that big of a mistake? Loco man, loco.
2001-12-10 10:49:08 AM
In the liner notes for Tool's "undertow" cd there is a an x-ray photo of a torso showing a huge dildo shoved up someone's bum. Very swanky!
2001-12-10 10:50:50 AM
Dalai Lama:
It would be an average size me thinks....but didn't you know that Farkers all have huge tools????
Just ask any of them and they will say they have a huge tool....

2001-12-10 10:51:53 AM
I wish I could get an xray of my penis out into the media! That would be SO cool.
2001-12-10 10:52:43 AM
Did anyone else see this article the first time? I remember seeing an x_ray of a very thin wire left inside, not like that huge thing in this picture (not his penis!)
2001-12-10 10:57:08 AM
Looks like the guy also has a second spine curling its way around the chest area. No wonder the docs were confused. They pro'ly just said "To hell with it" and sewed him up.
2001-12-10 10:58:49 AM
Cookie, darling, is that your pic? Can we have another pic that further spans north and south? Methinks it would be yummy.
2001-12-10 11:05:16 AM
Yeah, I would have MILLIONS off something like this.

I can see if it was something small like a piece of gause or something. But a FOOT LONG RETRACTOR, JESUS! I would never have to work again. And neither would my kids. Or my kids kids. Or my kids kids......
2001-12-10 11:07:36 AM

Its not that you don't sue up in canada its that your not allowed by your government to sue when someone screws up bigtime. You bet I would have sued their ass. That is a major farkup!

"12-10-01 10:39:39 AM Henchman
When they removed it, did he get to keep it?"

Yes, he kept it. I saw him on the Today Show a while back.
2001-12-10 11:24:53 AM
This is BEGGING to be photoshopped... Please!
2001-12-10 11:27:15 AM
Mediamademekill: You are right, and that's what I meant. With universal healthcare you forfeit the right to sue. Sorry for the confusion.

Yeah, what the hell is that?!?!?! Do I have that?!! It looks like some kind of anal probe gone mad..
2001-12-10 11:30:08 AM
Makes me reconsider the ENLAGEMENT SURGERY I was scheduled to have today!

Philo-- It's just an alien growing inside... that's all.
2001-12-10 11:49:00 AM
I should've put nails in there....oh well
2001-12-10 11:59:36 AM
Good thing they used a CAT scan to investigate. The poor guy would've exploded in an MRI.
2001-12-10 12:16:19 PM
There have been medical malpractice suits in Canada.

Right here in Hamilton, a woman sued McMaster medical centre for pain during childbirth.

They settled out of court.
2001-12-10 12:18:16 PM
pain out of childbirth??? Doesn't that sort of come with the territory?
2001-12-10 12:24:25 PM
