Tea Party membership is listed as a symptom under 18 different psychiatric disorders in DSM-5. The Tea Party was the sole reason for the revision.

Per CNN: Chris McDaniel is a lawyer, radio commentator, and Mississippi state senator. With tea party support and endorsements from Club for Growth and Sarah Palin, he is challenging Cochran, and the race has been heated, with plenty of name-calling.

No, McDaniels didn't have any ties to the blogger...but it's very clear the blogger had ties to McDaniels. Per an earlier report:

But according to the Clarion-Ledger, McDaniel's campaign manager, State Sen. Melanie Sojourner, called Cochran's campaign manager on Saturday morning at 7:45 a.m. to offer her condolences about the break-in -- about 90 minutes before the connection to the Cochrans became public.

So somebody in McDaniel's office, at least, had advance knowledge of the break-in, and the blogger's involvement in it--BEFORE the general public knew that some random imbecile had broken into Ms. Cochrane's room.

Now the latest spin is that Sojourner had "made the connection" between the break-in and Ms. Cochrane based upon "the name of the rest home and the comments on the blog," but again, that means that they were monitoring this blog heavily at 1 a.m. on Saturday morning, an odd coincidence if this guy has NO ties to McDaniel; and although the 7:45 a.m. call was by Sojourner to offer, supposedly, McDaniel's condolences about the break-in and blog posting, McDaniel himself was only "fully briefed" at 10:30 a.m.

McDaniel himself may not--likely did not--have known anything about the disgusting incident; but I will bet you dollars to donuts that it will shake out that at least a few people in his campaign office knew about it, and were cheering the blogger on until the moment his ass got thrown in the slammer; after which they ran to Mommy Campaign Manager shouting "Damage Control! Damage Control!"

2014-05-18 03:31:03 AM
http://www.clarionledger.com/story/news/politics/2014/05/17/melanie-s o journer-thad-cochran-wife-break-in/9215899/

However, that does not match up with what McDaniel told The Hill in DeSoto County on Saturday morning when he said he knew nothing about the arrest at that time.

The Clarion-Ledger has asked for clarification on the statement as to which blog reported that the arrest was connected to Rose Cochran or how the campaign knew the arrest was related to Rose Cochran since the only known report last night did not mention Cochran's name.

Noel Fritsch, spokesman for the Chris McDaniel campaign, issued the following statement:
"The McDaniel campaign found out about the break in when a local political blog posted about it at 11:40 p.m. last night. Senator McDaniel has denounced the break-in and called Senator Cochran to extend his condolences. It is unconscionable for the Cochran campaign and the liberal media to use the act of a sick individual to lob despicable accusations."

UPDATE 4: Noel Fritsch with the McDaniel campaign has released a statement clarifying the timeline of when the McDaniel campaign learned of the arrest and break-in:
"Melanie noticed the political blog post at around 1:00 AM CDT Saturday and was alarmed that it was likely Ms. Cochran who had been photographed based on the preponderance of evidence, including the name of the rest home and the comments on the blog.
"At around 7:30 AM CDT, Chris was notified only briefly of the incident and the need to personally reach out to Sen. Cochran.
"Shortly thereafter, Melanie called Cochran campaign manager Kirk Sims to express in strongest terms the campaigns' condemnation of the alleged crime. Alex Jaffe interviewed Chris at around 9:30 AM CDT during an event, at which time Chris had still not been fully briefed. Chris was not fully briefed until he left event around 10:30 AM CDT, at which point the campaign issued a statement at 10:49 AM CDT."

So Chris McDaniel found out about it at 11.40pm Friday but knew nothing about it Saturday when questioned by a reporter no wait the campaign knew at 1am Saturday morning but McDaniel wasn't fully briefed until after the interview but was told briefly about it before but we can't tell you which blog it was or how we knew it was Rose Cochran being filmed.

This sounds more like a car-crash than a well-planned smear operation.

Sounds like crazy video blogger did it on his own initiative and maybe told the McDaniel campaign what he'd done directly before posting it online.

The campaign staff were trying to figure how to react to it over friday night/saturday morning without it looking like they had anything to do with it.

Well, it *is* standard practice for campaign staff to do Daily Googles for their candidate.

But seriously, I doubt there's "no connection" between the two. Someone who is that much of a zealot and willing to do B&E and post multiple blog and video posts is going to be a campaign volunteer with some ties to the campaign, in my experience.

(As an aside, I watched one of Kelly's videos on McDaniel -- Kelly sho don't sound like he hail from Missippi.)

McDaniel has already changed the story once -- from learning about it at 11:40 pm to learning about it at 1:00 am -- Can't imagine why they'd have such a specific time in the first version.

I'll bet tomorrow someone will be posting a pic of McDaniel with Kelly.

McDaniel should take a page out of the Christie play book and have his lawyers look into this and issue a report saying he had nothing to do with it (and it was only disloyal and emotional staff that might have been involved if anyone was involved)  and that he did not know anything about it till after it happened.

Well, the graduations on the left side are obviously a different scale than the ones on the right, but I don't recognize what they may be (they're not centimeters). Fortunately for me, I'm not all that familiar with the trappings of a standard mugshot .
