Getting two triple plays seems to jinx the game for you. The Minnesota Twins got the Boston Red Sox to hit into two triple plays in a game back on July 18, 1990. It's the only MLB game in history to have a team turn two triple plays. The Twins also lost the game.

If you're turning multiple triple plays it means you're probably giving up a lot of baserunners, so it's not a big surprise.

A triple play is unique but no different in the box score than getting three outs in a half inning, which happens at least 17 times a game.  Has little impact on final score.

Right. It means they have (at least) two on with no outs. Not exactly a recipe for success.

Whoever coaches base running should be fired. Jesus, that's bad.

Whoever referred to Michigan State as the Trojans should also be fired.

triple plays don't score runs.  Not a stretch for a team that pulls two to lose
