Or online more. Either would work.

According to Noone, the website Diets Digest lifted some of her before-and-after photos from a friend's Facebook page and has been using them to hawk a diet supplement called Garcinia Cambogia.

It's Garcinia in Cambogia,

Could be fitness girl thread..

On the weekend...

What a waste

Considering it's the second time a company has done this to her perhaps she should sue them. If she is successful it might make other scummy so-called "weight loss" companies think twice.

Suing fly by night online pill mills is basically impossible, they're usually under false names and addresses. The best you can usually do is send a DMCA/EUCD/local equivalent takedown to their host, if they're hosted somewhere one applies; that'll putting a damper in their day. If you're not a lawyer, using a service like dmca.com is quickest.

/Ordering a ton of product and then claiming your card was stolen would be a good kick in the nuts, if you don't mind a little vigilantism.

If the pictures were hosted on Facebook, it's an outlandish guess to assume Facebook sold those things.

As someone who lost 100 pounds through a lot of hard work and not using those garbage pills, that's pretty messed up.

Fly by night scams don't have anything worth suing and will be registered in some third world shiat hole and probably just rolled through the Russian mob anyway, she'd sue, the company would instantly fold, never respond to any court filings, and a dozen other companies run by the same people with different names would spring up in the same 30 second span.

Going on a diet and writing about it makes you a fitness blogger? I didn't see anything about exercise there other than pushing away from the table.

Hahahahaha. I posed years ago for some clothing photos for my friend's small online business, and those have been hijacked by Chinese companies more times than she can count. They use her photos of her family/friends to sell their knockoffs. She tries to track them down, and if she's lucky, the host is in the US and she can DMCA the photos. If she's not lucky, like the last time, the host is overseas and wanted, and I'm not making this shiat up, a copy of her passport and social security number before they would pull the photos. She somehow managed to talk them into yanking them without those documents. My picture is going to be selling knockoffs when I'm 90. It's almost funny. My friend pretty much gave up on her website and does business on etsy instead without identifiable photos.

IIRC Photographs are automatically given copyright protection and copyright infringement carries up to $150,000 per incident...
