Nah, man...McDonald's is the most corporate of anything corporate most of the Working Class identifies with.

If they want to keep that status they have to bend over to the Complaint Brigade.

They should replace the song with the Divinyls' "I Touch Myself".

I don't eat anyplace else,
When I think of Big Macs I touch myself...

She's just there to play, not eat. She's not a customer. They should tell her to sit on it and spin.

I buy one of their salads and the non-breaded chicken filet, along with a sugar free lemonade and some apple slices, and then I ceremoniously throw it all into the trash, before returning to the counter to order up three Big Macs, a large order of fries and a super-sized Coke.

I eat it all while driving in my Ford Expedition to my six bedroom house in a development that sits on drained land that was once known as a vital migratory bird sanctuary.

Outside the USA, McDonald's is pretty good, for fast food.  Inside the USA, McDonald's is just about the worst fast-food option.  I don't know why.

It's terrible everywhere. Just because they throw a few salads on the menu in European countries doesn't mean anything, surely. Otherwise it makes me worry just how bad it is inside the USA. I don't think I went to a McDonalds in America. Perhaps I should next time, but I'll be too busy eating pizza. I really want to try pizzas everywhere so I can finally join in your great American tradition of Pizza Wars. Chicago vs New York. I suspect they're both great.

Making fun of people is fun but to effect real change I propose we bring back public flogging. I mean absolutely brutal, permanent damage kind of flogging. And make douchebaggery the offense which brings the flogging.

I was talking about the quality of the burgers, specifically, not the choices on the menu.  But I should have been more clear about that.  I should also have said "in South America and Asia" rather than "outside the USA."  I don't think I've ever had McDonald's in Africa, Australia or Europe.  So I really can't comment on how European McDonald's compares to McDonald's in the USA.

My local McDonalds (outskirts of Prague) regularly plays uncensored songs dropping the f bomb, n word and so on. What this mom is complaining about is quite tame. Mine uses some kind of McDonalds corporate radio, but I figured they would use the clean/radio version.

Careful of pizza in Amsterdam. The one I got, besides being on a cracker, had whole black olives. WITH PITTS. If I had not been using a knife and fork I could have incurred a great deal of dental damage.

I remember the fish sandwiches in mc'd in Germany were really good, it might have been the tartar sauce.
plus they served beer. but then again the water fountains in Germany serve beer.

Exactly!

Hell, the first time I went in to McDonald's in Germany, I felt underdressed. The places look very upscale and the food actually looks closer to the pictures than any other McD's I've been to. The McCafe's were actually a small part of the restaurant that resembled a Starbucks counter with all sorts of pastries and drinks... It was a great place to eat unhealthy food.

Not very tame if it was a song request by the perv sitting by himself in the play area sipping his coffee very slowly.

Years ago, a buddy busted one of those pervs.  He was sitting in the play area for ~2 hours before going to his car, sitting for almost an hour before driving away.  One day, they caught the guy masturbating in his car.

I remember when I worked tech support for a major computer manufacturer, I once got a customer who'd been on hold for a while who was just irate because she swore she'd heard "obscenities" in a song she'd heard on hold.  I just couldn't work with her and immediately had to get her to a supervisor.

Talking to him about it later, about the best we could figure out was that she'd heard a rap song and just assumed that because it's rap they must be cussin'.  She had no idea what the song is, and we both knew that no song marked as "explicit" was ever going to play on the hold music.  But some people just figure some music must just be dirty.

-"she then started violently twerking towards the Ronald McDonald on the bench, as a toddler of six years is apt to do, and had sex with another toddler and made a baby and I want money now," lamented Suzie.

Has anyone noticed the horrible 70's channel Home Depot pumps into their stores? My trip earlier this week featured Jim Croce's "Bad Bad Leroy Brown", Three Dog Night's "Black and White", Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and Blood Sweat and Tears' "You've Made me so Very Happy" while shopping. I then almost stormed out when Starland Vocal band's "Afternoon Delight" came on.

It only got worse as I waited to check out and Rupert Holmes' "Escape, the piña colada song" was played.

It wasn't a radio station or SiriusXM as they always have Home Depot commercials and notices between the songs. Whoever at corporate is okaying that play selection needs to be shot.

Well, because the American sheeple will eat almost anything without complaint. I hardly ever go to McD's for food because it technically is not real food, and when I do have to go there....I will complain about it to whomever I'm with at the time. There are so many other better choices out there!

I've lost count how many times that McD's has been in the news for items that they have added to their food when the few people that have protested against them. The pink slime added to the meat, cooking french fries in beef/lard oil, and just how unhealthy their menu has been. Its cheap and its fast food.....enough said!

1. Own a TV but believe size doesn't matter
2. Appreciate the warmth of Starbucks
3. Claim to prefer a Big Mac

5. Take comfort in not turning on in years a girl with small breasts
6. Feign disgust at the idea of drinking microbrewery beer
7. Walk past a smoker and offer small talk about the weather
8. Read customer reviews at Wal-Mart

Now for the UK, imagine these same songs, the playlist leaning heavily into midi file backing tracks of ghastly gay-bar disco standards, sung by corporate employees with a karaoke machine.

At least at Home Depot in the US, you would seem to get genuine shiat music.

My mother actually complained to a McDonald's manager (who was getting breakfast with the grandkids) about one of the Nintendo 64 games that they had available to play.  Evidently one of the NPC characters in the cutscene/demo was this charred bear-thing who was talking about "So and so burned me! It hurts!" and she thought it was a bit much for the kids to have to see.

My best parenting CSB...
So, neither one on my children have ever been in a fast food restaurant. Last week we were at a red light, right in front of a McDonalds and my 4.5 year old daughter says, "look a big M. M for mom!"
I asked her if she knew what the building was and if she knew what was inside. She had no idea. I changed the subject before she asked.

I friggin love that kid.
