Three straight months of flop sweat helps lose a lot of water weight.

When I vote for president, I want a man who will use public assets to politically attack rivals and inconvenience tens of thousands of people, but who is smart enough to lie convincingly about it afterward.

If he can survive the libs' truthful criticisms of him, he's got my vote in 2016.

Close the George Washington Bridge? He thought you asked him to "mow through ginormous fudge".

There is no way I would ever vote for this fat lying sack of crap.

Tony Soprano-style government without (as far as we know yet) the murder. But every bit the petty nonsense and revenge.

Has it ever occurred to any of you that he may well not have known anything about it?

Could it be possible that his level of incompetency and ignorance let it go on like it did without him questioning it or do anything about it?

Didn't read the article, blocked at work,  but did he just tell him or was there an email?  People can say they told someone all they want unless it is recorded or email traffic,  they other person can deny it all you want. And politicians will always find people to back them up no matter what.  So it's he said she said scenario which the truth will probably never come out.    Don't care one way or another, not a Jersey resident.

The one where the Oblahman administration didn't have perfect knowledge of what happened on the other side of the planet immediately as it was transpiring, and so deliberately let Susan Rice lie during sworn depositions on the Sunday talk shows, and then not correct the record, ever, which led to Mitt Romney making an ass of himself and also the 47% remarks and being allegedly a poorly-programmed robot and losing his erection.

Or something. Look, the Fox chick gave me half a cheesecake shot, so I'm not really sure anymore. All I know is I have to keep watching for the other half.

"When the Governor asked Mr. Stepien directly whether he had prior knowledge of the lane closures, Mr. Stepien truthfully told the Governor that [former Port Authority of New York and New Jersey executive] David Wildstein had come to him with the idea, to which Mr. Stepien responded that Mr. Wildstein would have to run the idea by normal channels in Trenton (i.e. the Governor's Office)."

Where is the part that includes it being Christie's idea, or being anything about political payback?
See, Christie never said he didn't know about the closures, he said he didn't know about the emails, for 48 hours.

One guy telling another guy, who says guy #1 has to run it by the "governor's office" doesn't mean guy #1 ran it by the governor, or the office of.

Who said anything about that? This is a separate issue, poking holes in Calzone's taxpayer funded whitewash report.

Plus, WIldstein's lawyer claims they can prove he told Calzone, but he's currently talking with legal authorities and isn't giving anything up yet. Publicly at least.

"I told Wildstein he'd have to go through normal channels" ≠ "The Governor was told in advance of a political payback scheme".

So the choices are he's either a) corrupt or b)incompteent.  Not exactly a ringing endorsement, either way.

This report makes me hungry.

There has clearly been some confusion about what was meant by "I didn't know". When Christie said that, it was about the release of emails that contradicted what he said he was previously told about it by the people in the emails. So this article really has no point, then?

I'm really starting to think you don't know how to read.

Stepien sent a letter to amend a report that already had all the information he wanted in it?

Nobody is saying he was told in advance. Christie has said he never knew about it until it was reported in the media. This appears to prove that claim untrue.

What does that matter? Seriously. If Christie knew about it and didn't do anything about it whether it was after or before, he is complicit. If he knew about it before the media did and did not fire anyone, he is complicit. Doesn't matter if he knew before or after.

He said he knew about it when complaints started rolling in to his office. He didn't know about the emails until they were reported by the media. Since they weren't sent on office accounts, he probably didn't.
*Confusion*

Again, all the article says is that Stepien told Christie that he had told Wildstein that the colures would have to be run through normal channels. It doesn't say Wildstein did as instructed.
