It's not just a question of "Don't try this at home".  Guns are designed to fire with air in the barrel.  If you use the wrong gun, it might make you left-handed.  I know Glocks have special recoil springs designed for underwater firing.

Yeah, the only part of the video anyone is gonna care about is the 20 seconds of underwater shooting and not the 10 minutes of dullness it's sandwiched in. I don't get why people do this.

Yeah, because the pressure of the outside water is muuuuch less than air pressue.

Reminds me of the 'experts' in antique gun forums who say a little too much oil in the barrel can cause overpressure and the barrel will blow.
