GoldDude: Delta of 12% (38% average rainy days vs 50% rainy "Bike" days) is not statistically significant on a sample size of 10.  No story.

Newspaper articles involving math pretty much always get the math wrong. In fairness, statistics is some of the most subtle and elusive of all math. (Though GoldDude summed this issue up in one sentence.)

I used to think, "writing and math are different skills, so it would be surprising for an expert in one to be good at the other". Eventually, it became clear that newspapers give candidates a math test, and reject anybody who passes.

Do not EVER bike to work if there are no shower and grooming facilities at your office. Seriously. Am I one of the three people left on earth that uses an iron and wears deodorant?

Move to Amsterdam if you want to work in a place that smells of bum and dirty hair.

That's just a ridiculous premise, subby. God does not hate Bike to Work Day. God hates bikers. Duh.

God has nothing to do with it, we make it rin more in the latter parts of the week than midweek in the Northeast.
