Granted, Kitsap County is a good place to hide. You'd kind of have to be demented to want to "vacation" there, given the political landscape. It does have its natural beauty I suppose.

Wilson said Kasem is visiting on vacation - and that he is cognizant of his location.

Wait until he gets his hands on some butane hash oil.

Getting lost in the system crap happens to a lot of old people.  The judge ordered Kasem to be found because of $$$ involved.

See, when you come out of those downtempo goddamn news stories, man, it's impossible to make those transitions, and then you gotta go into somebody alive and well. Goddamn it if we can't come out of a slow news day, I don't understand it. Will somebody find out the goddamn answer? Okay. I want a goddamn concerted effort to come out of a story that isn't a farking downtempo story every time someone thinks they're gonna do my goddamn death dedication! This is the last goddamn time, I want somebody to use his farking brain, to not come out of a goddamn story that is, uh, that's downtempo and I gotta read about farking me dying!

/This is American Top 40, right here on the website you grew up with, farkin' thread '229-oh-Fark!

What's the ruling on that kind of stuff? Like hash, honey oil, shatter (which is 90% pure THC)?

I know it's perfectly legal to have a little on you and, as long as you don't draw attention to yourself you're basically free to toke up.. but I heard a ruling was pending on the refined stuff.

2014-05-15 03:33:58 AM
He was just making a long-distance dedication.

I hope I die before I get old and uncognizant or whatever the word might be.

The article says he has Lewy body dementia.  That is the same disease my dad died of.  Which means he has not the slightest clue who is with him and likely does not know his family either.

That was not the case for my mother. She knew everyone and generally had good awareness of her surroundings (nursing home, where she ended up after a fall and a disastrous hospital stay). She also had hallucinations, which is a hallmark of LB dementia, as opposed to Alzheimer's.

On top of everything else, she was also extremely depressed by her situation. Most of the time when she refused to talk (while she was still able), it was because she didn't want to interact with anyone, not because she didn't know who they were. One day when she was especially unresponsive, I tried talking to her in German (her native language), since my grandmother who had had Alzheimer's responded to that on her bad days. She opened her eyes and told me, in English, that she had nothing to say and I should go the hell home.

It's a horrible way to go.

Going through that with my Uncle right now, some days he is good, other days he recognizes everyone but believes they are impersonators, he will say say "You're not the real Tom_Slick!" He also sees demons flying around overhead lights, so he can't go anywhere overhead lighting. Horrible disease.
