FTFA:
Her father, Craig Blair, is a West Virginia state senator.

Translation:  Political dynasty.

"I don't have as many biases because I am younger and so I'm more capable of taking the views of the people directly from the district to Charleston," Blair told the Martinsburg Herald-Mail.

Translation: "I don't know enough about things yet to have formed strong opinions so I'm basically at the mercy of machine politics."

"I think I'm fully capable of doing the job, and I don't think it's rocket science by any means -- not if you just listen to the people," she added.

It's like these idiots grow on trees.

Her father, Craig Blair, is a West Virginia state senator.

Family trees.

Do we actually have visual confirmation?

2014-05-15 09:43:54 AM
Who farted, y'all ?

2014-05-15 09:44:19 AM
In her campaign flier, Blair characterized herself as a "fiscal conservative" who is "pro-life," "pro-family," "pro-marriage" and "pro-jobs."

0 for 4

I bet she goes commando for the thrill

2014-05-15 09:44:45 AM
Oh, goody. The pompous little ass is pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-family. Way to pander to the base before any of those decisions have been encountered personally. Wonder if the little shiat has even held a job.

2014-05-15 09:45:12 AM
Yeah. Sounds like she is riding Her fathers coattails.

Well the people who voted for her will get what they wanted.

Bravo on the headline, but WTF who would vote for a 17 year old kid?
That's insane. The incumbent must have been a complete idoit.

The sad thing is that she might win the election. The Eastern Panhandle will vote for anything that isn't a Democrat.

As long as her worldview continues to fit on a bumper sticker, I see a long and successful political future for this scrappy young payola sieve.

2014-05-15 09:49:12 AM
"Blair, who has already spent $4,800 on her campaign"

I wish I'd had that kind of money when I was 17.

2014-05-15 09:49:20 AM
"I don't think it's rocket science by any means -- not if you just listen to the people"

Lesson #1: "the people" want a lot of shiat, but they don't want to pay for it.
Lesson #2: Since you have no concept of money or of working to earn said money or of having to go without money, you cannot relate to "the people" you represent

2014-05-15 09:49:35 AM
She must be a horrible person... just look at that R after her name!  If only she had a D next to her name, we would know that she was a bright up-and-coming politician who would really improve things.

Well she's got the listen to rubes and then vomit out boilerplate catch phrases aspect down.

What the fark is a 17 year old fiscally conservative about?

Well, considering this was between her and another republican, it's not like the voters had much of a choice for which party to vote for.

But other than that, she doesn't have as many biases.

Can anyone tell me who the people are who are anti-life, family, marriage, and jobs?

Seeing as it was a Republican primary, she wouldn't have even been able to run.

Is it hurting your brain that she didn't run as a democrat, her father is a GOP state senator, and won a primary, which means only conservative turn out?

I think it means you want gay people to get married and adopt, rather than live in sin.

Yes, I'm aware that this was a primary. I voted in it (not in that region).

My point is that this girl may very well win the general election because the Eastern Panhandle is shockingly red.

Try to think around this, friend. She wouldn't have won a democratic primary.
