You did the right thing. Never try to understand a press message. About half the time we use codes - - especially with public institutions of higher learning.

I'll bite the troll. A test for marijuana picks up any trace of smoking marijuana for up to 90 days. No way to tell if it was taken that night or any night for up to 90 days ago. They now have tests that strictly test if one has smoked marijuana recently, it tests the residue in the mouth that is left over, but I doubt that was the test used here. Most likely a tox-screen. But, please, keep on with your bad self!

I think the OP was just being facetious, but since this is about weed, Arizona, and the duration for testable material in the body, this is relevant.

Here's the gist of it:
Deputy Maricopa County Attorney Susan Luder argued before the Arizona Supreme Court that the county had acted properly in charging a man with for driving under the influence after finding Carboxy-THC, a secondary metabolite of marijuana, in his blood after stopping him for a traffic violation.

But she argued that the state Legislature - which outlawed driving with any trace of Carboxy-THC - had the authority to make the law even if it was not fair to strip someone of their license 30 days after they last smoked marijuana.

They want to be able to bust you for being under the influence long after the influence has worn off.

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/11/06/arizona-prosecutors-smoking-we ed -weeks-earlier-enough-for-dui-charge/

At least the state Supreme Court used their heads, but the prosecutor's attitude is scary.

LOL! I always thought that was funny also. I'm guessing they are the largest university by enrollment in the US that doesn't have a football team, and yet they have a football stadium named after them. And they pay for the right to do it.

true. if it ain't on the I-10 or I-8 corridor, it is largely undeveloped.

/and , apocryphal story of the US Army / DoI surveyors fixing the US / Mexico boundary "accidentally" turning northwest approximately 40 degrees, accounting for the sharp-ish angle.  had they stayed due west, the US would have a seaport in Rocky Point.  look at it.  then again, APOCRYPHAL STORY.
