(Yahoo)   If you're going to run a high-end vehicle chop shop, it's probably best not to taunt the cops with a set of 'S2OLUN' vanity plates on your Audi. Or you can be an idiot. Like this guy, for example   (news.yahoo.com) divider line 23

Only seven years for over a million pounds in auto theft - including violent car jackings?  The above article we see two and half years for a Welsh bank robber?

Is this some sort of joke?  Maybe the UK should just run an ad that says if you get caught committing a serious crime were going to slap your wrist, give you a handy, feed and house you at finishing school for a bit, and it's on your way back to your life of crime - no big thing.

Am I the only one that read S2OLUN as "Stoolen". That pic of Pelosi looks like she's constipated, so I bet she wishes she was "Stoolen" too!

It's not a vanity plate - S20 LUN is in the standard British license plate format, so would have been issued as normal.

Saw SC51 BUS the other day too, which is also standard issue.

Ahh... Stolen... okay...

S70LUN would have been better... At least a 7 sort of looks like a T..
