Perhaps the Democrats should spend the next several months banding together to convince people to vote in November, so as not to turn the legislative branch entirely over to Republicans who've recently turned "moderate" into a synonym for "evil".

THEN maybe they can set their fangs on each other for the 2016 election.

With Hillary as presumptive a candidate as any non-incumbent has ever been

Is it 2006 already?

Obama's gonna get impeached once the repubs take over both houses so we'll actually get 10 years of Biden.

I didn't think you'd be the "tough on crime", "the cops are always heroes", "we need more people in prison", "nothing Israel does is ever wrong" type.

My guess is you're probably cherrypicking quotes either out of context or from years ago.

Either way, your concern is noted.

I realize you are basing this on the indisputable fact that she said years ago that she wouldn't run.  But nearly every candidate says that.  If you think she isn't running, you're dreaming.

I'm wondering if she'll campaign with any of the Dem candidates for November.

Uncle joe will need to do a 180 on pot and so will Hillary for that matter before I vote for either.

But that's only of they are running against a republican.

I'm pretty sure they're taking Biden out as well if it goes that route.  Boner will be gone also so it'll be some Rapeublican whackadoo mucking things up

If former Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer gets mentioned among her possible major opponents, the field has been cleared for Hillary.

Biden seems a longshot to jump into the path of that speeding freight train.

I seem to remember that not long after Obama was elected that there was something of a consensus around here that Biden, while well-intentioned, is a bit of an idiot. Why would anyone want him as president?

If they both do that it will be a 360, or so says my bong.

So just another Dem voter who doesn't know Joe Biden's record that well.

That's OK. When you start accepting climate change as a real issue first, then we'll discuss Joe Biden.

They sent him a toy one and the rest went to charity. As VP, he's not allowed to accept personal gifts over a certain value ($200, I think).

His performance in the VP debate in 2012 demonstrated his political acumen. His speech on grief (this is really worth watching if you haven't seen it) to the families of dead servicemen showed he has a heart and his response to the Onion's take on him shows that he's not priggish and can take a joke. He's shown the public he's a good guy - which is a big achievement in a presidential run. Now he needs to show he has the policy chops.

That's all I'm waiting for... and I am sure he does.  The man stopped short of pistol whipping Paul Ryan in that debate.  I/m surprised Ryan didn't leave crying.

I wouldn't have to think twice if my choices were Biden or Clinton.

Impeachment proceedings will be started by the house, but Republicans won't gain enough senate seats to successfully impeach.

Other than Biden and Hillary, Schweitzer and Martin O'Malley appear to be the only people really seriously considering a run for the Dem nom.
