carrion_luggage: There are two levels of cliff diver:World Grand Champion, and stuff on a rock.
BiffDangler: The competition for worst at holding a camera steady has gotten off to a good start, too.

CAPTIAN SLAPPY: One of the other offerings at the end of the video was sooo much better. There is stupid then there is stupid combined with bad luck, ball crushing bad luck. http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5ec_1386410419
Tell Me How My Blog Tastes: This dude was on Tosh.O years ago. The "don't do it you idiot!" was a dead giveaway. And the tens of thousands of dollars in hospital fees (insurance wasn't going to cover that one) was an added bonus.
SlothB77: at least what he hit was loose dirt and mud and not just straight up rock cliffs.

Big Ramifications: 've seen the full video of that and I'm pretty sure his f*up was caused by the ground or a rock moving under his takeoff foot. That was a HUGE fail. Not even close to clearing that rock, too funny!

Big Ramifications: SlothB77: at least what he hit was loose dirt and mud and not just straight up rock cliffs.Damn straight! It saved him from a horrible injury for sure, but the sandy cliff also mighta been his undoing. It's really hard to see his takeoff properly [duh] but you can see a puff of dust as he jumps. I reckon the ground gave way during takeoff and he got ROCK ALL horizontal velocity. ie. Not enough to clear the outcrop.Nearly all of these "fail while jumping off of a cliff and into the water videos" are caused by two things. The ground moving under the takeoff foot, or the takeoff foot slipping. Considering you are gonna apply the most force with that last step, makes a misstep most likely then, compared to your run up. Hey wot? These fails generally aren't caused by misjudging distances.// I wonder if the idiot knew the cliff was rather sandy?Tony_Pepperoni: [img.fark.net image 169x159]I've seen the full video of that and I'm pretty sure his f*up was caused by the ground or a rock moving under his takeoff foot. bigbadideasinaction: People also misjudge how much forward movement they're gonna get. Horizontal speed stays linear, vertical does not. Parabolas are a biatch.
MelGoesOnTour: FARK is getting to be a little too much like Ogrish-lite sometimes.
