What difficulty? I'm Alec Baldwin. One call to Lorne Michaels, and the Commisssioner will apologize in person, followed by the firing of the police officer.

Didn't he back Bill De Blasio?

"New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."

Alec Baldwin is a liberal living in new york which is a city run by liberals, voted for by an overwhelming liberal majority population.  This should be his liberal utopia.  no wonder he has anger problems.

guess what happens we you live in a liberal-run welfare state with vast transfer payments: you get massive debts that can only be paid for with exorbitant taxes and the criminalization of benign behavior to extort more money in the form of fees and penalties.  Big government out of control and on display.  In the end, instead of helping the unfortunate, it persecutes all.  Instead of lifting up the meager, it makes all suffer.

I'd have temper problems if i had to deal with that too.

I'm sure the whole thing was because of his understandable anger over the fact that he chooses to live in a state that isn't run by knuckle dragging tea-tards instead of a red-neck utopia like Mississippi.

Why would someone that rich want to live in the hellhole that is NYC? I mean you have to be a little rich to even live comfortably there but with his dough he could live in a place that doesn't suck so much.

I wonder if the cops asked him "What's in your wallet?"

Be careful where you bike. Most things in here don't react too well to bullets.

Mediocre actor. Colossal douche.

I'm a little upset with the police on this incident. Here they let pass a great opportunity to tase this a-hole. Well maybe next time, and we all know there will be a next time.

I saw this earlier, still not gonna click on the link. With all of the shiat he's done in the last few years, cussing out cops isn't exactly earth-shattering.

I'm never going to 100% like any actors, except for Drew Barrymore and the butt plug girl, so I'll just ignore all of his asshole shiat and enjoy him in movies and when he's pitching his Schweddy Balls.

2014-05-13 05:48:56 PM
Disorderly conduct is usually "you're getting a thumping" time. They knew who he was.

And he's a damned fine actor. And he's been funny as hell in many roles.

He may have anger issues, however.

I wonder if the police offered him coffee at the station.

see, this is what i don't understand.  and, for the record,  i don't side with either of you...i'm a moderate.   why don't you address his points, instead of just going all "knuckle-dragging tea-tard" on him?

I can't stand the guy and would not miss him if he disappeared forever, but he his a decent actor.  Credit where credit is due.  The mediocre actor is overstated, the colossal douche is understated.  Call it a tie.

30 Rock really was a magical place. Alec Baldwin was liked, Tracy Morgan was funny, and Tina Fey dated Matt Damon, Jon Hamm, and James Mardsen. It was filmed on cameras powered by unicorn dreams.

You have to carry ID when cycling? WTF? What if you're twelve? What ID would you have?

He struck me as one of the few actors who could pull off bad ass/crazy at the same time as being a pretty-boy ala Miami Blues and the Getaway. That's not that easy. The closest thing was Richard Gere. Both are fine actors that had to struggle to get Bruce Willis type roles, but when they did, still did a respectable job.

If you're a vehicle on the road, you should have ID. That way when you kill pedestrians in the crosswalk breaking a red light, they can pick your ass up sooner and haul you to jail, whether you're on a moped, a bike, a car, or a big rig.

That doesn't really make any sense.  Are you saying that they can't arrest you if you don't have ID?  Or that if you kill someone with a moped, your ID gets stamped into their face so that you can be found later?

So what ID would a twelve year old have? And what if you don't have a driving licence? Having to carry your driving licence while driving a car is weird enough to us Brits but to have to carry it while cycling?

Fenstery: Cops took him in so they iD him and write him up for the traffic and disorderly conduct.

He broke a law and procedure says you have to be brought in to confirm identity for summons.  If he wasn't breaking the law he wouldn't have needed ID.

MFAWG: So he basically acted like every other bicyclist over 12 in America?

Pretty much, some people feel entitled just because they wake up every morning. I once got a sheriff pull me over for walking along the side of the road. I was drinking at a bar and decided I couldn't afford a cab so I had to walk home. Know what happens when you give your I.D to a bar for a tab and leave to walk home and get pulled over? Yep you get arrested. For all the cop knows, you are a wanted felon for murder, reality is I left my I.D at the bar who were not happy when I didn't pay my bill that night.

I got bailed out, paid my bar tab 2 days later. Charges of not having my I.D present were dropped, drunk in public were dropped. Cops had every right to arrest me because I pulled my wallet out to show proof of who I was even though I had to under no obligation to show proof of who I was, unfortunately my I.D was at the bar when I opened my wallet, giving the officer probable cause. Being drunk didn't help since I forgot where my I.D was....

I could of been in a much worst situation, but the sheriff officer was professional, and I wasn't an assclown, unfortunately this is not always how it works out. Then again if I went all Alec on the officer, I'd probably be tasered in the eye or shot dead if I were brown.
