Honesty, having a personal theater room in the style of the TNG bridge is nothing but awesome.

They forgot to show the "My Little Pony" master bedroom suite.

Is the basement 50 Shades of Grey themed?

Tr0mBoNe: Is the basement 50 Shades of Grey themed?

For that amount of money I'd hope it would have better BDSM than pop mommy porn.

This.

But on a serious note *puts on nerd rage* it is not "Star Trek Enterprise" replica article. Star Trek Enterprise was one of the TV shows. It would be more correct to classify this as "Star Trek Replica" or even "Star Trek The Next Generation Replica".

If that guy has differently themed movie rooms, does he only watch Star Trek in the Star Trek room and play Call of Duty in his Call of Duty room?

And I had a really hard time imagining what the Call of Duty room would look like.
Maybe some guy is hiding just inside the door, punches you in the face and then teabags you?

Is shortening mansion to manse really worth the effort? You'll spend more time thinking about what it needs to be shortened to than you would just typing "ion"

Looks like the dude knew how to have fun with all that extra money.  All it's missing is a 1000 sqft garage with wall to wall motorcycles.

It's good, but for that much money why not just create an exact replica of the bridge?

for 35 million you could probably at least pilot your own star trek TV series. Succeed or fail you can
keep the set and write it off as a business expense.

I've often wondered what keeps some business from creating a replica of the inside of the Enterprise (TNG version) and then just selling week long stays with activities.

Say the replicators are on liquids only at the moment and make them those instant beverage things, install a picture window of space, send messages and alerts to everyone's tablets or phones, schedule a showing of Macbeth in klingon for the evening, maybe put together a running show of about 40 minutes a day for a week for people's daily bridge rotation....

It'd be like a nerd cruise.  What's the x factor that makes it prohibitive?  Do people think the audience is too limited to maintain occupancy?  (That's not snark, honestly curious about that...)

Well, shiat. I just went 6 figures into debt to get a house. What's another 2 figures added to that?

"... has a theater that looks like an exact replica of the bridge of the Star Trek Enterprise

Must be an exact replica from a novel.
