(NJ.com)   Good: Stranger picks up $485 restaurant tab for a group of autistic children and their teachers on Cinco de Mayo. Great: They create a large thank you card for the donor and posted it in the restaurant, where the children hope she will see it   (nj.com) divider line 43

These children shouldn't of been allowed in an adult restaurant in the first place. It's probably the HFCS and toxins in mass-produced food that caused their autism in the first place. I hope the stranger didn't tip the waitress on that bill just to show the restaurant that they shouldn't be allowing things like this.

Next time they should do the decent thing and buy up the entire restaurant for an evening so the rest of us don't have our meals ruined by badly-behaved crotch spawn who shouldn't be allowed out in public until they've learned how to behave.

No. It's because they're giving vaccines in  restaurants these days. (DUH!)

Worse: they discover that it was Hitler's grandson who picked up the tab.

I came in to semi-troll, semi I was beaten to the punch.

Seriously though,
Brat =/= autistic

Please do not blame mental issues for your bad parenting.
And worse, when you do, please do not drug the kid out of his/her skull.

/once faced an "autistic" kid who had behavioral issues
//sat with him in the corner until he calmed down. Let him play games on my iPhone as part of the deal. Had him playing nice with the other kids by promising him he can play more games if he behaved. I hate to imagine what his parents raised him into right now.

I have eaten at Jose Tejas in Woodbridge, and I assure you, that's not Mexican food. Not sure how a bunch of autistic kids could run up a $20 tab each, unless the teachers had a few pitchers of sangria on the sly.

Heck, it'd take a LOT more than a "few pitchers" if I had to deal with a table full of autards!

See, Tips for Jesus people? This is how you do it. You don't constantly congratulate yourself through the whole meal and ensure your paid advertisement hits all the papers. This person was selfless.

25 Autistic students, plus probably 10 adults (teachers/Aides etc) brings the total down to.$14 each, reasonable for group that size.

The price, for the number of people who were there, is acceptable.

That being said, I know the place well and I can attest, it's a lot of things, but food it is not. I feel sorry for the kids - someone must really hate them to subject them to that stuff.

I'm calling BS for two reasons:

1--It's New Jersey.  Nobody does things like this in New Jersey.  Not even for kids bleeding out the neck.
B--It's Jose Tejas.  I don't know how you can rack up a $500 bill on cilantro-shooters and Tyson chicken wings; the most expensive thing on the menu is about $3.

I've only been to the one on Rte-46 (can't say "THE 46" ), but it's not even spendy for the WalMart crowd.

irony: cinco de DRINKO is only celebrated in the usa, is NOT a mexican holiday. i mean, who the fark celebrates a battle they lost? oh you mean they ultimately won the war? why not celebrate that instead of a day you LOST.

must be all that horsepiss they call beer...

And then the teacher took them all to Atlantic City where they counted cards and made over $37,000 and all got stupid drunk that night.

i sure have actually. we make fun of the locals and tourists who celebrate cinco de MORANO here.

Troll? I am not the one getting my panties in a knot because people are celebrating for reasons they don't understand. I find your rage silly. People tend to look for any excuse to have a good time. Sorry if that troubles you.
