MythDragon: Penis babies
Rann Xerox: fireclown: dittybopper: Vorral: Xenomorphs around the galaxy lowered their heads (and tinier internal heads) in mourning. Facehuggers reportedly heard saying, "Mmmm mfff mm ffmmm!"Excuse me Sir, a xeno-what?It's a bug-hunt.Hey, I sure wouldn't mind getting some more of that Arcturian poontang! Remember that time?
a particular individual: bikerbob59: I had that album. Yes, I said album. An album is just a collection of songs. A CD or tape can be an album.

someonelse: I didn't know there was a Giger museum until today. I want to go to there!
eyemarten: MythDragon: Penis babiesYour mom was a penis baby./amirite?
Ijustworkhere: LZeitgeist: SpdrJay: My walls have been covered with his art for the past 20 years.RIPYou sound single.I was dating this hot hairdresser back in the late 80's and she found my coffee table book of Giger's art. As she was leafing through I was commenting how cool it was and she gave me the strangest look. Never saw her again after that night. I guess dead babies and penetrating machinery is a turn off.
bikerbob59: I had that album. Yes, I said album.
SideshowSideswipe: RIP Geiger, you taught me that penises and vaginas can be VERY SCARY LOOKING.
Rev. Skarekroe: Every bit of sci-fi, horror, and fantasy art from the last 30 years owes a little something to Giger.
Pants full of macaroni!!: Crewmannumber6: R.I.P. guy I've never heard of.You may not know his name but you've definitely seen his work.RIP one of my three favorite artists. (Dali and Escher are the other two.)
gfid: Still, you turn me on....First thing I thought of - probably not even on that album. I can't remember.
I_Like_Pie: Ever since I laid eyes on this guy's work in the 70's I have known that they were created by someone with a tortured mind.I later found out a little bit about Giger and his life - that this guy had a lifetimes worth of night terrors every time his head rested on a pillow. That he was barely functional to where he had to be taken care of by friends and loved ones. Never really "liked" his work, but always admired that much artistic focus in someone with so much pain. It was visually stunning and perfectly illustrated the mental landscape of fear hidden deep in everyone's mind.I am thankful that, despite the lifetime of sorrow, he had the ability to channel that horror with a blank canvas and an airbrush.RIP - you can finally rest now without being crushed by terror.
ZAZ: AntDid you ever listen to Greg Lake's solo album? "You'll never come back / from a nuclear attack." Wikipedia says Lake didn't write that, but he did sing it.
Ant: I had that album on vinyl. Best album cover ever![s3.hubimg.com image 520x605]
Prevailing Wind: Giger Counter - 0:00
huntercr: Here's to hoping he designed his own coffin.
ZAZ: I was at work listening to ELP's Brain Salad Surgery. The CD had a bonus track with an interview. They started talking about the cover. It was too graphic and had to be airbrushed before it could be released upon an unsuspecting world. I was writing an email while listening. My fingers dutifully typed "penis" when the word was mentioned on the audio track. Fortunately, I noticed before sending.
