And Allen West is a horrible person to even suggest that.

But we already know he's a horrible person.

It's not news....

Technically, everything that's happened in the last two years has happened right before the beginning of a new Benghazi investigation.

Suspicious indeed. How did Boko Haram know on April 14, 2014, that a mere four weeks later the House would vote to form a select committee? Who is giving them this information, and how did Obama get a mole into Congress?

I mean, not "war criminal gets to enjoy life as a private citizen and gets to mock our very government which he was sworn to defend by serving in it" fishy, but...

It's too bad I preempted any possibility of trolling here.  I would have said:

"You libtards are so quick to rush in to defend your Messiah.  Where were you pieces of crap when Benghazi was under attack from radical Muslims?  Where were your Twitters then?  Maybe if you all jumped on Twitter and Facebook then we could have brought the necessary resources to bear on Benghazi and saved those poor, unfortunate Americans.  But no - you were silent then, and your joke of president was nowhere to be found.  Stephens and his people needed security and rescue team.  N0bamma couldn't even be bothered for a tweet.  Well good luck making up for it with your little white guilt internet campaign now."

This has to be the most diabolical administration in history.  I am constantly amazed how they can accomplish these missions.  They are super clandestine missions carried out on a scale as no others before and with no leaks. I would love to hear the planning sessions.  Hopefully someone is taking notes and will release them sometimes in the future so future generations will know how accomplished the Obama presidency was.  Congratulations are in order.

No seriously, why do you care about these girls so much when we can focus on the same shiat for years while doing absolutely nothing to prevent a similar situation in the future.

Why is Allen West not in some prison? Aren't mock executions technically a capital offense?

Look, I just find it weird that large groups of Nigerian girls are kidnapped right before each of the half dozen Benghazi hearings, that's all.

Well mock executions are torture and torture is against domestic and international law so he is a war criminal in additional to being a disgustingly horrible example of humanity.

nmrsnr: Why is Allen West not in some prison? Aren't mock executions technically a capital offense?

He plea-bargained with the JAG prosecutor.  He got a slap on the wrist, was officially reprimanded, and paid a fine.  He was able to avoid jail time, and retire with his Lt. Colonel's pension.

An enlisted soldier would probably still be in Fort Leavenworth, turning big rocks into small rocks.

2014-05-12 05:31:34 PM
Before you start dissing Alan West, you need to ask yourself what's more likely:  that some dude kidnapped a bunch of young girls for his own gain, or that he did it under secret orders from the White House.

The obvious answers is always the right one, people.  Open your eyes.

2014-05-12 05:32:19 PM
He could fix the problem by changing into his batman gear and going over there and freeing them.  Then the Benghazi hearings could continue without having to worry about it.

West likened the attention on Boko Haram to the Dustin Hoffman movie "Wag the Dog," which depicts a war that has been fabricated by a presidential campaign to distract from other scandals.
"Are we witnessing an Obama 'Wag the Dog' moment with Boko Haram in Nigeria? I say yes," he asserted. "Consider all the scandals facing the Obama administration, especially Benghazi and the Select Committee, which Rep. Nancy Pelosi referred to as a 'political stunt.'"

Jesus, just once I'd like to see one of these morons get held accountable for their stupid bullshiat. Just someone calling them out for being 180 degrees from what actually happens. It's got to be a product of (IN chronological order) the Bush Administration, Fox News, the Birther Wars, and the Tea Party. Put them together, and you end up with a trend of people not wanting things to true, as long as they are damaging to the opposition.

/And yes, I know the whole 'Doesn't have to be true, as long as it sounds good' thing is older than this, but it has reached epic levels of stupid in the last 12-14 years.
//And I also understand the Fox was around before Bush got elected, but that shiat got turned up to 11  when he got in the House

After reading the article and West's blog, it sounds to me like his complaint is that the Democrats are using the kidnappings as a distraction - not that they've manufactured the situation a'la Wag the Dog.

.. And now back to your regularly scheduled liberal outrage.

Mr. West is not attempting to imply that the kidnappings carried out by Boko Haram were orchestrated by the President as a means of distracting from the newest Benghazi hearings; rather, he is suggesting that sudden national interest and media attention on the Boko Haram kidnappings are an effort to distract from the new Benghazi hearings.

Mr. West is not suggesting conspiracy; he is suggesting merely opportunism.

His suggestion is, of course, not actually supported by any evidence and amounts to baseless speculation presented as an argument, but he should be attacked for the position that he has actually stated.
