No one cared. It was then that I learned the somewhat harsh lesson that it's only art if people give a shiat.

The same goes for architecture.  It's not great architecture unless decades after the architect is dead people will time the time, effort and money to restore a building.

Grand Central Station fits this bill.  Everything from Frank "the pile of gorilla shiat thrown on the floor" Gehry does not.

Actually it's Grand Central Terminal, there is a difference.  And I agree about Gehry
