Nah, it was BBC rules against product placement that led to the lyric change for the single release. But the album version has the right lyrics.

So do some live performances, although for a long time they (apparently?) used the censored version when a performance was being recorded.

Confusingly, the album sleeve lyrics say "cherry cola", but the recording is perfectly clear.

Actually north of downtown is pretty expensive.  The poor live south or east, and you have Remo's to the east in Rainier Beach.
