Thanks, because that answered my first question, what sort of sweet looking aircraft was that.

I am curious as to what some of the maneuvers were.

And yeah, I saw Neville Longbottom there too.

/Hard to tell, but it was a low wing, looked like a mod.
Snap rolls, barrel rolls, steep angle turns , and a few nice stalls / spins.

The "turn the plane back on!" one was a tail slide.  Here's an F-22 performing that maneuver.

Dammit.  Link would have helped.

AbiNormal: TURN THE farkING PLANE BACK ON!

That was the funniest part of the video.

Great angle for a loop, I've never watched one from that angle before.

I want to know this guy so I can go flying with him. I'd scream that much, but it would be because I was riding a HUGE adrenaline high...

Thanks, I was pretty sure there was a tail slide and a loop in there. There was more though and while I didn't expect the pilot to have posted a list of his maneuvers, well, it would have been kind of cool.

First time I went up in a small plane it was a rental and the pilot found all sort of problems with the aircraft that were minor and it was still legal to fly, but made me pretty nervous. Then he did some stall practice.... We got down, we rolled to a stop. I barfed. That was just anxiety though.

A few years later I had my license and took some aerobatics lessons. We got down, we rolled to a stop. I barfed. Then I drove home. About halfway home I stopped at a park. Laid on the ground. Spent about 45 minutes there hoping the world would stop spinning.

I love flying. I would love to love aerobatics. But I tend to barf.

Man, so many kinds of fail.  Unnecessary 30-second obnoxious commercial when there's a perfectly good ad-skippable Youtube link, then failure to deliver puke.

I want to speak to your supervisor, Subby.

Ah that explains why I had the idle thought of "nice scenery, kinda looks like home".

CSB time:

Had a friend in high school who got his pilots license and would take me up in his dad's Citabria.
It was no Alpha 160A, but a couple of 16 yr olds could have a lot of fun flying it.
We always made sure to reset the G-meter before landing.
